Yeah to be fair it’s really hard to find that thread using the current search function.

You really need to know the name of the thread to select right search words which I didn’t but your sarcasm is noted and not impressive.

It’s the fourth result if you search “Hurzeler Manager” for what it’s worth. Third if you add his first name too.

It appears the issue you’re having is you didn’t tick the big box which says “search titles only”

But I didn’t know the title and assumed ‘key words’ would pick out words in Title too

Search facility works perfectly if you know the title name or certain key words.

It’s not the first time I have really tried to find a thread that I couldn’t remember the exact name of and it wouldn’t find it.

FWIW - I posted a request for help with using the search feature back in January and got no response whatsoever

You had all the right words, you were just using the search feature incorrectly.

It will search titles too, but how many posts will have had the words Hurzerler and manager in them over the last 6 months? Now think how many titles would have had those words in ever.

If you know what words should be in the title; which you did here, then it’s always best to get the search function to just check the titles. Or if you can remember something you posted in the thread then you can search for your post specifically.

I know my post probably came off more sarcastic than you liked but I was also genuinely trying to show you that the search function is now pretty decent if you know how to use it. I am however, a sarcastic piss-taking prick at heart so that comes across too.

Nothing like “Nothing to see here..” to draw a crowd, it’d probably be better just to keep a low profile and let it drop off the page.
