Yes I agree, although (being that I'm not up on the law) I'm not sure a paper is allowed to out someone without good reason (eg an MP extoling family values whilst being dishonest about their family life). Coote is yesterday's news, he'd gone, so I'm not sure they'd have a good reason to out him. But regardless, maybe you're right.
It’s never yesterdays news when that rag is intent on ruining peoples lives.

Both would get non stop abuse from the terraces forget the two different circumstances.
Then it would be up to the football authorities to come down hard on the clubs whose fans give that abuse (in the case of Coote, not Greenwood). Close parts of the ground, deduct points etc etc. (The upside of this might be the relegation of Chelsea!!).

Just seen his exclusive Sky interview and quite frankly I nearly puked! How many sympathy boxes was he trying to tick? Cynical stuff. Really surprised he didn't mention that his pet goldfish died.

My thoughts on that were why the person felt the need to send it to the Daily Mail or put it on social media. Says more about them than him.

Hope the job goes well for him. Although that footage might make it harder.

Maybe they should name and shame the person responsible for it.

Seems a bit ghoulish to me. The man lost his job, and yeah, it was totally his own fault. But just leave the guy alone already. No need to post on Xwitter to humiliate him (meaning the Daily Fail, not the OP).
Agreed. Let's all kick a man while he's down.

Wait until he hangs himself, then it will all be 'be kind'.

How about just letting the man live his life in peace!
Indeed set up by a jilted lover. Yes he ruined his job as many have but really this too much

The man's presumably got a mortgage to pay like everybody else, not to mention one that was probably based on his Premier League referee salary.

I'd say the loss of his job and public humiliation was more than enough of a penalty: he doesn't deserve shitty newspapers sneering at him for trying to make a living and get his life back on track.
