The team have just passed wivelsfied toward Lindfield.

They were joined by Buzz the kitman who is training for their walk in aid of the albion foundation soon.

Spirits were further lifted by a video call from Fab to wish them all luck.

The boys are tucked up in bed, under the Gatwick flight path (actually in a very nice little hotel in horley).

They covered 28 miles today in a little under 9 walking hours across fields and up a couple of steep hills (Ardingly reservoir being one) so kept a very steady 3.2 miles per hour

They did 2 live interviews, had a recorded message from Joel Veltman and a live facetime with the manager

Most importantly they started the day with £9800 as donations and ended with over £12k. I understand how tough times are for so many people so this is just mindblowing that so many people have been so kind.

Tomorrow is another marathon as they have 27 miles to do. Forecast is a bit hit and miss so fingers crossed. Sunday they will be joined by a large group of friends as they cross tower bridge and are hoping to pick up more as they pass through seven sisters around 1.30pm

Thanks so much. They're off and running for day 2. Just about to reach the m25. They were sent off with a spring in their step thanks to a wake up message from Danny Welbeck.

Left a little bit later to allow the worst of the showers to pass through.

Very soon they'll be passing through Croydon 😜

Day 2 - completed it mate!

The lads have done their second marathon and are now settled down for the night near the old city hall in London (between London and Tower Bridges)

They had another well wishing video from a player, this time it was Jack Hinshelwood.

There are some very sore muscles among the lads but they are so buoyed by having gone over £13.5k in donations today.

The final push tomorrow will leave from Old City Hall at 10.30 and head over Tower Bridge , straight up the A10 to Seven Sisters. They will be joined by a lot of family and friends.

If you are going to Spurs tomorrow, keep an eye out for them. You won't be able to miss them and they are wearing shirts with a qr code to the fund raising site on them. Feel free to walk with them and, if you can, donate.

After in excess of 63 miles, they did it; arriving at the Stadium just before 2pm yesterday.

Thank you to everybody who donated, shared supported and encouraged.

So far they have now raised in excess of 16k (which with gift aid is nudging close to 20k). Will update with a final total in a week or so when the shirt raffle has been drawn.

Special appreciation to those who scanned the qr code from the shirts yesterday and to Buzz at the club for his support and arranging the player and manager messages. We will return the favour for his upcoming charity walk.

Also to Bluesaway coaches who raised over £180 with an on board collection.

Bloody well done to all ... that's some walk and a good amount of money raised, which will hopefully increase once all the money is in and counted.

I saw this photo being taken ... and just squeezed in it myself.

With £17,200 in donations and Gift Aid taking this to over 20K I am going to unstick this.

A tremendous effort by the boys and by NSC. Give yourselves a clap. :clap2:

Will no doubt see them on a train to a dodgy Northern away game some time next season.
