Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
When are the fixtures out?

What will you be doing during the close season?

Your mum replies must include a photo of your mum,she could be Bulgarian so please remember the consequences of your actions.

I'm going to finish my Nuclear attack proof (ISH probably) before the season starts and looks forward to the close season absolute bobbins threads like this one ,that will hopefully entertain me until the Welsh pre season tour starts.
And remember there's no such thing as a stupid question 😁
I fully intend to do one.

Jobs around the house. Looking for a new job. Working on the tan. Possibly a bit of golf. Sorting out pensions and hoping I can retire. Moving house possibly to down size. Move to somewhere sunny.

For those who wish to join us on the cricket thread, it's here. Some may find it a little too civil. We even accept Surrey fans, with gritted tolerance.

Sussex starting the season well and the India Test series on its way. The Hundred starts at the end of July, so we normally migrate back to football threads around then.

I’m going to do some fishing, some gardening but above all - additional masturbating during the close season.

Does anyone have some extra tissues for cleaning up my keyboard?

What? ? ? ! ! !

The fishing & the gardening left me with some dirty fingers and I should have cleaned them before I used my keyboard.

I'm rather surprised the OP fails to understand that the off season is all about cricket, as is most of the season. Until August when cricket takes a break for some weird hybrid tournament that NSCers hate. Thankfully the footie is back for then.
Exactly. With Sussex an unexpected third in the CC as we break for the shit and giggles tournament and a decent test series against India to look forward to, it's all about willow on leather for a couple of months. Sadly, it looks like my first game of the season is going to be cancelled as the oppo can't raise a team.

Returning the the UK for the first time in SIX! years this summer. Interested to see how much has changed since 2019.
Looking forward to watching some cricket and tennis, do some touristy stuff around the country, got Oasis on the 5th July and then a little European jaunt.

I'm not convinced that this remote part of Wales will be much of a strategic target for whoever decides to end humanity unless they intend to eradicate all the men with excessive amounts of fishing tackle, then indeed the shelter will have been well worth the 8 months of trapsin dirt into the house.
For myself I'm going to make a written record of every single supposed new signing rumour even those that Bozza posts because the law of averages suggests that one of them could actually come to fruition eventually.
I was intrigued by the description of the OP's cricketing prowess, can I just say a golf club in that man's hands is akin to a straight boomerang whilst never witnessing for myself his batting style I can quite imagine the non technique Vs brute strength involved.

Roll on August :albion2:

Now the season is over and I don't have to focus on Wieffers form, the best thing to do with Evan, Dunks hip or João Pedro s influence on the squad, I think I'll focus on making love to my woman.

I've got a bit of time to make up for

Not much of a cricket fan but I have been a Middlesex fan since Peter Parfitt played for them. Why? I really have no idea:shrug:

Maybe they were a top team and I was a very young glory hunter.

I will not be polluting your cricket thread though!
