The term 'bottled it' is massively overused these day, particularly amongst tedious online PL banter merchants, but having been 12 clear at the top of the league in January, Walsall have absolutely bottled first the title and now promotion. Their fans must be absolutely sick.

I was just reading about that. 15 points clear of 4th place in January. Lost out on automatic promotion after a 96th minute winner for Bradford. Then they lose in the playoff final.
The definition of choking.

Just back from Wembley, there are going to be a few sore heads in the morning

Almost 30k Wimbledon fans, Walsall brought a good number down as well

Other the one keeper mistake, which lead to a goal line clearance Wimbledon seemed to be in complete control

Capped off when an ex MK Dongs player came on 😂
