I just saw a post that said Kaoru Mitoma was staying after turning down a 4 year Man City offer. It said he wanted to stay and become a club legend. Has anyone else seen this as I can't find it again.

It is a Facebook group without a verified blue tick, where anyone can post rumours and it looks like the official club FB account.
Quite a few of us have reported it as fake, and tell contributors it is fake news but to no avail.

There’s another ‘story’ doing the rounds now, about Mitoma getting a £20M bonus and donating it all to homeless charities. It’s clickbait or like farming.

I mean those are obviously nonsense. I mean the transfer rumors from social media journalists. Every summer Brighton fan accounts re-tweet them. Why? It seems counter productive.
