Mrs SlartiBF and I were up in yer Landan Town yesterday ..... walking along the embankment just south of Westminster, we walked past Toby Jones (The Detectorists and that Post Office thing). We slowed down to say something to him - something witty - but I couldn't think of anything suitable, and I didnt really want to be THAT sort of person, so we walked on.
Not a massively exciting story, I have to say .... but it happened just yesterday, and I saw this thread today.

Was on the platform at Shoreham station last year waiting for a train to London. This stunning woman was right next to me with a little kid in a pushchair. Then the penny dropped … it was Jumbo Cush. Hair same as in this photo.

A few years back the Wz's were on a ski holiday and shared the minibus transfer to resort with one other couple and Timmy Mallett and his son. He was surprisingly quiet and pleasant.

His son though was a complete ARSE.

Snooker Legend John Parrot in Waitrose in Formby.

Beat that.
I hope you didn't miss the golden opportunity to tell him to get to the back of the queue. Because he will have never heard that before.

Recently, Kelley Hawes and Matthew Mcfadyen next table in a London restaurant, & Zoe Ball in Farrow and Ball, Brighton; she gave a nice smile which brightened my shopping chore spirits.
Elton John and Colin Cowdrey when I was working in a bank in Arundel during the 80’s.
