No doubt they will be blaming UEFA and the police for the chaos?

I think I will have to stop looking at this thread. Even though they are absolutely nothing to do with me, makes you ashamed and embarrassed and just reinforces the negative image our compatriots (or some of them at least) give when going abroad.

I am going to the England v Andorra game in Barcelona. I just hope to God that this doesn’t make the police there overreact thinking that they need to be decisive to avoid the city being trashed. Generally with England fans these days it’s a lot better controlled and not like that, but it only takes a handful of idiots on the lash to ruin it for everyone.

In fairness, there are at least 40,000 English people in Bilbao. So far, there were about 40 twats luzzing bins in San Sebastian last night and one Tottingham simpleton has broken a traffic light.

I'd say the stabbing of an NSCer in Rome alone is worse than all of that put together.

Why? One of our own got STABBED in Europe. Stuff like that happens all the time in Italy for European games.

Some fat old English men windmilling at each other is nowhere near as bad as what many European teams get up to in Europe. There is no way UEFA could ban English clubs for that.

I agree with the points being made, but there were two Brighton fans who got stabbed in Rome.

Won't need to worry about whether we get a place in Europe next season; I can see another blanket ban ahead.
It's bad enough having our bottle tops taken away but if there is a blanket ban then the 1901 club will be in uproar - how will they stay warm on those cold winter nights.

Fantastic point well made ( you Brighton fans are very well balanced 👏, must be the fine Sussex air) but as we all know every English fan or person will be viewed the same, I’ve said before winning off the pitch is as important for me and these fools undo the great work and reputation 99.9% of travelling fans build.

Two English clubs in final, play final at Wembley. Simples.

A lot of local businesses will have planned ahead based on the sporting calendar, it’s not fair to take it away from them at short notice.
Sky are reporting on what appears to be a large number of decent fans, the bellendary displayed on this thread is a minority.
