27yr old x2 Title winning centre half with Champions League experience on a FREE.... errr yes bloody please

I bloody love Dunky and always will but he is now 3rd choice you would imagine.

JPVH Boscagli Dunk and Webby... thats a very strong 4 for next season.... well thats what i am hoping are our options at CB

I do think there is a good chance Webby gets sold though. We shall see.
Bit Harsh on big Julio there. Strong case for him being our best (or most in-form) defender before his injury.

I like Julio, but I don't think there was ever a case for him being our best defender or most inform, let a lone a strong case. Specifically I'm thinking Fulham away and Leicester back to back where he made horrendous errors that cost us goals.

With Igor I think it's less about that particular errors, but more that I don't think he's done enough in the time he's been here to stop us buying a replacement ... which is what we've done.

Igor will be sold in the summer I think

Definitely got an eye for a clever pass. Looks a smart defender a bit like Velts, tidy defensively without being flashy.
For a free, looks a brilliant signing by the club again.
Ps I also anticipate another CB signing but this time with real pace. Pace at the back is the key and insurance to playing FH style of pressure.

from their forum , Sounds like a decent player for them but this season been crap with lots of errors . Still mostly wishing him well , alot suggesting head turned last summer. Improved towards end of the season

Experienced, left-footed, Centre Back with decent pace and excellent passer… on a Free? It’s a good day

Perhaps. But that's just in a defensive context.

Boscagli seems to be a much, much better passer of the ball than Igor. Definitely Dunk level passing but, in my opinion, has the advantage of being a left footer although there are some very decent right footed passes on his showreel.

The likes of Minteh and (hopefully) Mitoma will surely be seeing more of the ball with this guys deeply impressive distribution skills.

Maybe, but I suspect that he'll either have an option for another year or a new offer incoming. His interviews recently have been very pointed in his love of being here and wanting to emulate Dunky. He's a big influence in the dressing room too and at 30, still has a year or two left in him at least.
There is no need to suspect that - it has been reported that he does.

To a degree, fans of the departing player's club often say that, don't they? Ajax fans said similar about Veltman. We did about Trossard, Sanchez and others (although in Sanchez's case it was entirely accurate). Maybe he's made errors, but once fans know a player has ideas about leaving, every tiny error will be highlighted as a sign he's no longer interested.

I only saw him in one European game on telly this season, and he had an absolute shocker…
