I would.
He's doing a good job but he doesn't anticipate & position himself like a RB because he isn't one. He gets away with it because he's a strong athlete & an excellent footballer but it's not a long term solution & a waste of his talent imo
I sort of agree but it seemed to be what FH was intimating and he could grow into the role. In the same way I'm pretty happy if Hinsh plays at LB if needed but he's better in midfield I think the same may be true of Mats at RB and perhaps means the position is less of a priority this summer.

Personally would like Mats to get a run with Baleba in midfield over Ayari and Hinsh to see how it works

For filling in. But a team challenging for & perhaps playing in Europe needs specialist full backs

Yeah, pre-season though please ( unless the unthinkable happens tomorrow), let's not experiment when we're in a race for Europe.

I thought Mats had a really good game tonight but I wonder where he fits in when everyone is fit.
I think we will get in a first choice RB for next season and we do of course have Ferdi to come back too.
The midfield looks incredibly well stocked and I just don’t see him starting above at least 4 other lads.
Will he be that happy down the pecking order or be content as a back up RB. I like him but where will he play.

Agree about tonight thought he was great again.
Have to disagree regarding the pecking order. I think it’s obviously Baleba, and then one of Ayari or Weiffer as the other CM.

It’s all about opinions of course but for me Jack and Diego are in front of him too.
i actually think that Diego could go on to be a real superstar

Think him and Baleba could be a super DM pivot if they get time to bed in together. The worrying outcome could be Carlos gets sold and Mats gets his shot to take that position on his own.
