So for Europe we need 4 points from 2 games (which is doable), Chelsea to win the Europa league conference (which is likely), and Forest to beat Chelsea on the final day meaning they finish 7th (which is possible).

We can do this!
f***ing hell, I spent huge swathes of this season supporting (against my will) Arsenal, Spurs and Man Utd in Europe, now I have to support f***ing Chelsea as well?

I’m not convinced Europe is worth this level of sacrifice.

Maybe have a support of Newcastle for the final 25 mins here to balance out the Arsenal side of things.

Hearing Arsenal playing Sway (Mucho Mambo) at full time, our lot were singing this recently but I couldn’t hear the lyrics, anyone?

As with almost every football chant, pretty much every club has a version of it, and Palace fans will falsely claim they invented it.

When the samba rhythm starts to play
Dance with me
Make me sway
[insert player name] running down the wing
Scoring goals
Make the [insert name of team] sing

Leno's shit housing at the end was classic Fulham time wasting.

30 seconds left and he has a goal kick to take. He basically mucks about and refuses to take it. Gets a yellow card. When all that shitehousery is over, he goal kicks the ball out of play and the ref blows the final whistle. Horribly effective tactics. If I were a Brentford fan watching that, I'd be losing my shit big time!
Hugo, If your keeper doesn't do something like that when you are 3-2 up at Palace next season, you'll be fuming.

I wasn't able to follow thegame because I was out mackerel fishing on a kayak off Seaford. I almost burst a blood vessel when I heard the result driving home. I'm about to bbq the silvery beauties and wash them down with some fine Sussex beer.

Looking forward now to next week's games.

Excellent work, a result that suits us both  The Brentford head loss, online anyway, has been great too.

Indeed. Look how annoyed we still are for not 'managing the game better' v Wolves when we threw away a two goal lead. If we'd been more proficient at a spot of time-wasting instead of pouring forth in ridiculous numbers - we'd be in 8th place right now.

You are right of course and I'm glad he did close out the game without Brentford touching the ball but watching Leno in action brought back bad memories of Fulham doing it to us.

Anyway, enjoy your Sussex Mackerels & beer, you've given me food envy!!!

My head hurts with it all, but I think a Newcastle win would be preferable, to increase the chances of Chelsea finishing where we need them to.
I believe as Newcastle are above Chelsea already, this result didn't matter.
We need now need wins for Forest and Villa next weekend, Man City to get 4 points from 2 games, Us to get 4 points from 2 games and Newcastle not to lose by 2 more goals to Everton than Chelsea lose to Forest by next weekend. Oh and then Chelsea to win the Conference League.

Not sure what odds a bookies would give you for all that to happen

Forest win
Villa just need a point
City just need a point from 2 games

Chelsea would finish 7th then

But City's point needs to be versus Bournemouth, otherwise we need 2 wins.
And as I said at the moment Newcastle have a plus two goal difference over Chelsea so still need them not to lose badly.
