Their squad will be hugely stretched with Europe next season. Glasner will be poached. They won’t make another decent managerial appointment will they? They’re doomed. The FA Cup was a poison chalice. The start of their downfall. The beginning of the end. The wheels are falling off.

I don’t even like football anyway so it doesn’t matter.

Their recruitment of manager and most of their players recently have been second to none.

This has really ruined my weekend and I'm looking forward to being reminded of it every time they play the 8 different european clubs next year grrr

The big annoyance for me is that their players just don't do the stupid or technically inferior things our players seem to do. And if they do, they get away with it.

I've only read three pages of this thread, but fack me, what a load of over-reactive, knee-jerk, toys-out-of-the-pram snowflakes.

Increasingly, some fans are clearly never happy and are seemingly more concerned about other clubs and fans than their own. I can only conclude that they have nothing bigger to worry about in their lives - like actual real-life problems - than a game of football. In that respect, they should be grateful.

Not where I want
From my post last night from Genoa....this is how to celebrate when your rivals (Sampdoria) get relegated......perhaps we'll be doing the same next year for this year's FA Cup winners.....

Apologies for the shonky camera at times...I was seven floors up on a roof and found out it was at firework explosion height......

It all seemed to be sanctioned by the authorities....even at 1am!

You mean the recruitment of their 'most recent' manager has been second to none? Unless you're suggesting Roy Hodgson, Viera, Hodgson, de Boer were all 'second to none'?

Whatever. I'm sure you knew what I meant.

Anyhow my football mojo is at it's lowest score at the moment.
It read like suddenly they are the best recruiter's of managers and players in football because they got 1 managerial appointment out of the last 10 right.

All this bitterness about Palace is so over the top. They have not become a great side overnight. Like us they are a good PL side who if things go well can get into Europe or win get to a cup final. Lets face it 9 times out of 10 City would have won that game All went Palace way on the day so good for them. Watching game I thought it shame they won not because they are Palace but dont like to see sides win that play with 10 behind the ball and rely on odd break.

Villa's "attitude" wasn't the problem. The problem is that Glasner had Emery on toast, like he has done every time they've met in the past (4W, 1D, 0L), and they simply couldn't handle us on the break. We were just much better than them on the day, as we were in all of our three wins against Villa this season.
It was if Emery and his players couldn’t be arsed to adapt their tactics in light of those earlier defeats, the way you learned from your 5-2 thrashing at the Etihad to beat City yesterday. How is that not an attitude problem?

We've had the worst injury record in the Premier League this season by any and all metrics.

We've not been able to start a game with four specialist defenders in our back four for 11 games now.

You won a major cup competition because the worst decision in Cup Final history went your way.
And lest we forget.

This was Nick Pope handling outside his area, where Sala was miles further out, miles further to side of pitch, going away from goal more than Haaland was and with a covering defender who may have got back to block.

And Pope was rightly red carded.

It's was a shocking decision yesterday. It wasn't only Eze that won Palace the cup, it was incompetent officials.

But one is all you need to win something. Bugger! :(
You need a lot more than just a manager. If anything, their poor season relatively, and a bottom 3 so far adrift you can barely see them meant they could go all in on the cup. As RDZ found in a semi-final we should have won, if you have the distraction of an impressive league finish, juggling your squad is not easy.

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favour fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

What you are missing is that spectator sport is an opportunity to forget real life problems. However, I agree that, as annoying as Palace fans are going to be the few times we are in the same stadium, some people on here are utterly losing perspective. We have an awesome club that is the envy of many football fans (probably quite a few Palace fans among them) Our time is coming TB is dedicated to the future. So far, his methods have brought what for me is unimaginable success.
