Yep. Ended our season. Biggest day in their history.

Comparison is the thief of joy. We just need to accept that we are not as good as they are and move on.
If Henderson goes they get well beat , just what are the C***s on VAR doing ( or betting on - maybe just don`t want to "ruin" a final considering the WORLD viewing figures ? ) never mind the F*****g ref .

"not as good as they are " but 6pts ahead and scored 13 more goals , plus our players can stay on their feet , Glassner is a turd who has his players going down all the time and at strategic times in the game just like smug Eddie .

better than us - you`re an idiot , ave a chat with yourself ffs

No self indulgent holier than thou were better than you comments from the usual twats that just HAVE to correct every opinion i post , this is for my benefit ( if allowed ) so F*** O** .

Palace got lucky with a cup run which can happen. They have been in the PL many years longer than us and have never got to 50 points. We got to Europe before them and I’m very confident we will do it again while this is a one off for them.
No chance.

We've peaked and on the way down.

I've spoken to quite a few independent fans and asked them to compile a best 11 from out two squads.

The unanimous opinion was Palace 9 us 2.

Only Baleba and Rutter getting in.
If we take that as fact, just to play along, they've had a dogshit league season then, right?

They're 12th in the league ffs. Yes they've won the cup, fair play to them, but it's not like they've set the PL alight in any way shape or form

That terrible start still counts though. Can't just pick and choose parts of a season to focus on; it's about consistency over a season!

We'll see next season where it takes them if they have a good start
Well hopefully Europa games will destroy them and they can drop out of the league.

We had an abysmal start. Mateta, Wharton, Henderson, Eze, Munoz, Lerma etc. all played in international tournament finals just before the start of the season. Wharton came back from England duty injured and required surgery, Mateta was absolutely exhausted without a summer break and didn't look remotely fit until nearly Christmas.

I would say that our first XI is definitely better than yours. You've got better squad depth though - if we had a few more injuries today then we likely wouldn't have had the strength to win a major cup competition. We'll need to address that over the next few months if we want to be able to compete in Europe :)

Baleba and Van Hecke over Kamada/Hughes and Richards for me. If playing against a low block, I'd probably have Pedro/Rutter in there too instead of Sarr.

I feel as bad as I did at the Kelvin Morton game, as I did at the 5-0 at Selhurst and the 2-0 playoff game..... But it's just internal, I don't think many Palace fans are that bothered by the rivalry tbh. So feck em. It does make us want to do better and, for me, them fecking up the possibility of 8th place meaning Europe extends the (pantomime) hate a bit. So it someways it's "fine".
I was in a pub in Clapham after their semi final against Villa after work, Palace already in there and it was pretty much non stop singing about us. Weirdest thing happened an Albion fan with his mate offered them out and they didn’t want to know 🤣
Don’t believe those who say the rivalry is dead.

We've had the worst injury record in the Premier League this season by any and all metrics.

We've not been able to start a game with four specialist defenders in our back four for 11 games now.

You won a major cup competition because the worst decision in Cup Final history went your way.

Perhaps the Palace fans, to their great credit, realized that people who punch each other because they support different football teams are f*cking idiots.

The first two are true. That doesn't change the fact that our first choice XI, and only our first choice XI, is better than yours. You still have the better squad and it's why you're going to finish ahead of us in the table.

I would say that the worst decision in Cup Final history prevented us from winning it against Manchester United in 2016 ;)
We were lucky with the Henderson decision and perhaps unfortunate with the penalty decision. I think it probably evens out overall. It also doesn't matter because the game is now over and we've just won the FA Cup.
