It was a very weak appeal by Sussex as it looked liked it missed the bat.
Most amusing hearing the Somerset commentators going mental at the shocking decision. Talking about the honesty of Simpson appealing.

A nice spicy game to follow.

This is poor from the commentators, piling on to Simpson. I'm not wholly convinced it was a bad decision, the replay wasn't clear enough for me, it did hit the glove, but it's not clear whether he got an edge. Simmo's a pretty decent bloke - he walked last week before the umpire gave him out.

The harsher decision was Davey, I thought that one came off his arm rather than the bat.

They're idiots

There was one earlier that looked to come off bat and pad. They said it didn't matter as the catch was dropped. It wasn't, it went to hand.

You'd need snicko. But FHP didn't think he'd hit it, Simpson didn't think he'd hit it and Banton definitely didn't think he'd hit it. Very strange all round.

Commentators have been poor though. They were wittering on about VR headsets and missed a drop.
