We might share a few differences to say the least, but let's extend the hand of friendship to our mates up the road and wish then all the best in the Cup!

Come on Palace!
You were either pissed when you compiled this piece of shit or you are 15 and know nothing about this rivalry. FFS.

I do think people need to calm down a bit, there is awful lot of gnashing and wailing and lashing out at people over the mere thought that Palace might win the Cup. What the hell are you all going to be like when they actually do win the Cup - I'll hate to see it

And they will win the Cup. This is Palace's third crack at the final. They are a good side playing well, and City are a disjointed team not playing well.

We can enjoy it if the don't, but if they do, lets learn how to take it in our stride. Remember, a good rivalry is NOT one-sided.
It's a one-off match but Citeh are 3-1 favorites. They are 4th in the league, not lost for over 2 months and only recently beat Palace scoring 5.

Frankly, I am more and more convinced, the nearer the final we get, that Palace are destined to win this. I am so sure, I have actually stuck a tenner on them yesterday (and I dont do betting ... ) - thats how convinced I am that it's a done deal. I only stand to "win" £28 , but it's a certainty. I shall collect my dirty money on Monday and probably buy a couple of bags of cat food so that at least my cat can enjoy it.
- EVERYTHING points to a Palace win. But mostly because it would be the worst possible knee in the bollocks for us.

Things could be worse (for you).

Sunderland could get promoted. :lolol:

I've placed a bet on Palace winning in 90, and also outright.

Half-funded by a Palace-supported colleague who will owe me after Albion finish higher in the Prem.

Eeees complicated.

I‘d rather die in a pool of my own piss than have the scum winning the FA Cup - come on City!!!
Lovely................especially with all the shit happening in the world at the moment ! By the time you so delicately put it 'die in a pool of your own piss' , the game will be done and dusted !

I can't imagine a single context where I'd want Palace to win...well, anything really.

Therefore to think of wanting them to win the Cup, especially when it would see them knacker any chance of us getting into Europe? Not for me, Clive.

Ideally I’d like a meme of a Palace fan sobbing at the absolute humiliation of the manner of their defeat to be the default shorthand for every single representation of sadness, in whatever context, for many years to come. All over the internet please, used in future by some of those as-yet uncontacted tribes in the Amazon as their first interaction with technology because it’ll be such a unifying moment of humour for all but Palace.

Make it part of the psychopath test too where they have to identify emotions. Banksy can spray it on a wall. Have Taylor Swift use it in a video. Anything to make it spread far and wide and live forever.

(An adult sobbing that is, not a child.)

In an ideal world, I’d like them both to lose.

I’m not sure what parallel universe I need to visit to make this outcome a possibility, but I’m going to give it a good go and pay a visit this weekend.

Glorious.

If it turns out that my limited grasp of physics isn’t quite up to scratch, the only possible outcome that I could bear is a City win, without watching it… just a satisfied grunt when I open my Sunday Times on Sunday errmmm obviously.

Satisfactory.

Don't buy cat food with it, buy cat litter. It somehow feels more fitting.
