I wonder how Brian Clough would have handled itI haven't followed the story religiously, but having seen what he did on Sunday I thought it was pretty pathetic and I would have expected it to have been done behind closed doors, and possibly dealt with on a Monday morning once everyone had calmed down rather than on the pitch in front of the TV cameras on the day
It felt like a dick move by Marinakis, and as you suggested I wouldn't have been surprised if Nuno had turned around and said "stick your job, we've had an amazing season and you do this?" but he doesn't seem to be that sort of character (I'd have loved to see what happened had it been, say, RdZ as manager).
