Beginner's luck.
Beginner's luck.
I think it’s you that’s been double wooshed.I think you've all been spectacularly whooshed by @essbee1![]()
Zeberdi, does the expression "tongue in cheek" mean anything to you?I think it’s you that’s been double wooshed.
Read my post above and the quotes, the OP has been arguing consistently across multiple threads that he doesn’t want us to play in Europe next season.
Why else would he cheer Palace on?
And for the record, I was in central London (Strand) the morning before the semi-final (a sickening experience) and will be in central after theZeberdi, does the expression "tongue in cheek" mean anything to you?
You posted numerous posts on the other thread arguing with nearly every poster why you thought Brighton weren’t ‘ready’ for Europe and are clearly against it - given a Palace win will destroy our season, ‘tongue in cheek’ to subsequently post a thread to WU those that disagreed with you by cheering Palace on to win? I don’t think so. It’s just fcuking with those peoples’ heads that really want this. And for the record, I was in central London (Strand) the morning before the semi-final (a sickening experience) and will be in central after the
final and will be equally sickened if Palace win. How does that square with your view of the events?
Read the room? You've entered the wrong room entirely pal. You should have gone through the door marked 'tossers'.Happy to be banned. I've clearly read the room wrong.
Same, sorry.I think if the possibility of them snatching a European place from us didn’t exist, I might actually want Palace to win it.
I would then take a long hard look at myself, book myself into therapy, and never speak of it again.
You just know it's going to happen, don't you, it IS the Albion way, snatching defeat from the jaws of victorySame, sorry.
If they do win I will be gutted, especially if the unlikely happens and we win the next two games.
Maybe Brentford will be the ones who really suffer though….it would make it SLIGHTLY less painful for us.You just know it's going to happen, don't you, it IS the Albion way, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory![]()
There’s tongue-in-cheek and then there’s tongue-in-arse cheek.Zeberdi, does the expression "tongue in cheek" mean anything to you?
Yes. Yes it would. If Palace win the cup I’d rather finish 9th so they don’t get the added bonus of denying us EuropeHowever if Palace lose and we get pipped by Brentford would that be more acceptable than a Palace win? I think it might be![]()
Knew it.This is somebody who supports Surrey CCC.
Literally nothing is beneath them.
Nothing like a swift U turn when heading down the wrong roadAnd for the record, I was in central London (Strand) the morning before the semi-final (a sickening experience) and will be in central after the
final and will be equally sickened if Palace win. How does that square with your view of the events?
I feel a bit like this as well. If it wasn't for the Albion European issue, there is a small part of me that would think 'go and stick it to the corrupt, oil-rich wankers who have ruined football, you are a proper club and they aren't. Go and win it for football'.I think if the possibility of them snatching a European place from us didn’t exist, I might actually want Palace to win it.
I would then take a long hard look at myself, book myself into therapy, and never speak of it again.
Some kind of sick joke?We might share a few differences to say the least, but let's extend the hand of friendship to our mates up the road and wish then all the best in the Cup!
Come on Palace!
