It’s a definite no from me being a 01:30 kick-off😴😴

I love football because of the glory, the drama and the panto villains, so..... I shall definitely be watching this one! Cheering madly for City without any irony (normally can't stand them). I hope Grealish plays as I used to dislike him but now changed my mind, so come on Jacko play a blinder.

Don't agree with this negativity that it's a Palace shoe-in either. Odds of 1.75 on City are quite attractive, although I can see it going to ET. Palace out on pens would be both hilarious and stressful (in case they win) so might not hope for that.

Don't understand avoiding it. What do you want from your football fix FFS?
Yeah I get this, I'm undecided at the minute.

Normally couldn’t give a f*** about Man City but will be supporting them and will be watching purely on the jeopardy at stake here.

The Nigel’s will be absolutely unbearable if they win the FA Cup and as a byproduct deprive us of Europe (if we finish well)

They have fluked their way to the final with probably the most favourable draws on record.

It will be a risk watching it but can’t miss the chance and elation of seeing them f*** it up at the final hurdle and us potentially finishing above them

I’m sorry anyone on here (Albion) who wants them to beat city on a David / Goliath fairytale can frankly f*** off, it’s not the time
Spot on.

Yes because it will be great fun or utterly terrible, which is what football is all about (both)

No, I wouldn't even let my Dad put on the Semi Final. I'll be round his on Sat & will now check that he isn't expecting to watch it. He'll have to choose between me or the FA Cup. :lolol:

I'm sorry but anyone saying they want Palace to win the FA cup is not a Brighton fan. I can maybe get on board with someone feeling neutral towards them.
But to prefer a neutral team winning the cup over us qualifying for Europe is so genuinely bizarre I can't even comprehend it.
Even if you're not fussed about European football (also bizarre) you can surely acknowledge the massive benefits it brings the club. You're actively cheering on another team at our expense ffs.

Well said. I would prefer Palace to win rather than the Saudi money. Would be great for someone new to win.
City is Abu Dhabi money. Saudi money is Newcastle.

It's a NO from me, but nothing personal against Palace. I haven't watched an FA Cup final on TV since 1983... and I didn't watch that one on TV either! 😜

For those of you with strong moral probity the best outcome would surely be:

Man City 10 Palace 0

Then in the summer City have the book thrown at them are stripped of all their illegal titles but they're not handed to the runners up.

That way City get punished.

Palace don't win a trophy.

Palace don't get in to Europe.

Brighton get the opportunity to qualify for Europe.

Everyone wins. Except for Palace. Which is how it should be.

Well you are wrong on Man City being Saudi money, and another one you are either a troll an idiot or both, definitely not a brighton supporter state of it

This may have been answered in the threads on the results and combinations of them that can get the Albion into Europe. If Palace win the Cup and IF (unlikely I know) City get a massive points deduction that takes them out of the top 8, will that open up another European place? Or do City keep their Euro qualification as long as the points deduction comes after season’s end?

Yes I 'll watch it hope Palace win and beat the arrogant , fraudulent Man City bastards . They have a great team , a very similar club to Brighton in size and ambition. Just because I am a Brighton fan it doesnt mean I have to hate Palace ! I hate Man U and Chelsea for they way they run their clubs btw ! Come on Palace !
I understand the sentiment, I get that the whole M23 Derby/Hatred is pretty much contrived and that the bloke who kicked it off went on to manage Palace. However, the smug songs that a Palace win would spawn will be too hard to take. So it's Citeh for me
