Yes I 'll watch it hope Palace win and beat the arrogant , fraudulent Man City bastards . They have a great team , a very similar club to Brighton in size and ambition. Just because I am a Brighton fan it doesnt mean I have to hate Palace ! I hate Man U and Chelsea for they way they run their clubs btw ! Come on Palace !
Saying that you don’t want your team to get into Europe how can you actually say you support the club again

Like others on here, I'll be watching bands at the Great Escape. I'm hoping come 6.30 I'll be pi55ed enough not to care too much when the inevitable happens.

There have been countless posts on this board denigrating City supporters for continuing their support for the team following the change of ownership and the financial shenanigans.

Now we seem to be being urged by some to support them for the game on Saturday because if they lose our outside chance of getting 8th place won't get us into Europe.

Seems very shallow

I am absolutely staggered that any Albion fan hopes for a Palace win. Gobsmacked in fact. No real fan can hope for that imo. A fair weather who probably f***ed off during the war years and only re appeared when we were no longer shit I wager. Or a fan who only rocked up when we started rising through the Leagues, lives locally and has the Albion as a second team. f***ing disgusting imo 😳

You’d have Palace do us out of a place in Europe?

Because if Citeh don’t win, there’ll only be 7th position qualifying in the Premier League - with 7 points to catch Forest, that’s us out.

As I said above, it’s not about not hating or hating Palace, it’s about Europe for Brighton fans.
Yup, I understand all that and I know I am in a minority, but I dislike seeing the ‘big clubs’ win everything and as I said my son works for the Palace Foundation.
Bad fan here, but I am probably not as bothered about Europe as I should be. Next season though could well be a real cracker for us in the Prem.

No, but I get alerts from GoalAlert and Flashscore, so I will know what’s happening. I have to say I’m torn as I know a lovely lady who’s a Palace fan, who does a lot of charity work with them, for her sake, and the fact that Palace & us are similar in club size etc, they win.

I detest the idea of Man City buying their way to silverware yet again.

Then again, it is Palace! Arrrggghh.

I will not be watching. It is on the same time as The Great Escape is on, as it usually is, so I won’t even be thinking about it until someone reminds me by mentioning it later.

A beautiful sunny day, a lovely music festival and great company…I would only have missed this if the Albion had made the final.
I'm so tired and confused I genuinely thought you meant that for some weird reason The Great Escape (1963 film) is always shown at the same time as the FA Cup Final, and you always choose to watch it at that point.

Then I read the second paragraph and got sad - been to TGE a number of times but not for years now.

That I get, but you will be gutted if they win I wager

I'm willing to drown in a puddle on this one.

I wont watch it .... speaking as someone who loves FA Cup Final day (I guess it's an age thing... the first one I can remember first hand was 1969).... but there is no way I can sit and watch Palace stride on to their inevitable victory whilst City fail to turn up.
I'll just get the disappointment over with in one hit, later in the evening.

Been invited to a Palace-supporting friend's house to watch it. I like them, but I just don't think I can bring myself too. I could handle it if it wasn't for the European issue with us.
