Not sure why the Forest owner is getting so irate. He allegedly no longer controls the club to fit in with UEFA multi-club ownership rules. If he’s coming on and having a go at Nuno like that clearly he thinks he’s still in control.

Logically the only thing to do is ban Forest from European football next season.

Good to hear that your fans responded with a rendition of the Nuno song.
It’s a sore one no doubt loosing to Everton, Brentalona and only getting a point off Leicester but if we’d made the big competition we’d have been passed around like a rag doll, as for Nuno he’s handled himself well and the fans appreciate it as we do Steve Cooper who got several shouts today.

I'm finding Forest's fall absolutely hilarious. Another club who essentially cheated their way through the financial regulations. Them and their owner thoroughly deserve each other.

Marinakis is giving dodgy Greek shipping magnates a bad name. Even Onassis wouldn't have stooped that low.

Liverpool fans can't fathom the fact that playing for them isn't the be all and end all for every player on earth, including home grown ones.

I’d had been a bit miffed if Alexis Mac had gone to Bournemouth, Fulham, Forest or whoever we measure ourselves against these days rather than Liverpool so I can see why some of their supporters might feel aggrieved by losing Trent A-A to a direct rival. And it wouldn’t hwge helped if somebody told me ’oh well Forest are a bigger club than Brighton because they have won more European clubs than you’!

I've no major positive or negative feelings towards Liverpool at all, but f**k me, that drivel from Carragher about why the fans were booing Alexander Arnold today. If there was ever a need for a group of people to get over themselves...

YNWA.

Unless, having achieved all your goals in your current job, you decide to accept a new position working for a globally renowned and historically successful organisation, with great benefits including the chance of a fabulous home and lifestyle in a luxury Spanish development with your best mate living round the corner. In which case you’re on your own, kid.

A players career is not that long, and can be cut short by injury etc.
I don't agree that it's to do with Real Madrid being a rival to Liverpool, it's not like he is going to a premier league rival. He's not 'downed tools' and is still giving good performances until the end of his contract.
Here's a guy with an opportunity to play for an iconic club in another country and experience something different. It's not just about football, it's about experiencing things in his life.
Good luck to him I say.

Yep, really pathetic that some scouse fans can't see that

As for Madrid being a rival to Liverpool... haha, as if Real Madrid give much of a shit about Liverpool?!

Liverpool fan mate in the main stand said most of the boos were coming from Arsenal to get it going....there were a few he said from the home masses but spread far and wide.

I guess the nearest parallel would be if Dunk at the height of his powers had gone to Man U. He has been at Liverpool since he was 7. I'm not excusing the booing at all.
