[Albion] Premier League 10-11/05/25

We all know it's going to happen. Not only that, but if they manage to keep this team together, I suspect they will be qualifying for Europe again through the league. They are sadly ahead of us, they have a better first 11 and have a better manager. We had a good start, which keeps us above them in the league...Just!

I don’t agree. First I think City will beat them at Wembley, the quality of a team has to be based over a season so ‘good’ and ‘bad’ starts really shouldn’t come into it and this all while we had to introduce more young players into put team. I think both teams are close (as suggested by the league table) but look how close our quarter final game between Forest was. They have a more experienced manager but as they are going to finish behind us it’s problematic to assume he is better than ours.

I take your points and they have made me feel somewhat uplifted, so thanks! When I say better manager, I only mean better right now...there is a huge experience gap of course.

Why can't they have Roy back? That was much more fun.

Didn't everyone say that at the end of last season and they've been happily bottom half for the entire season whilst we have been happily top half all season with a worse injury crisis and a new manager. Lets not write off next season when a lot of our players will have had a season of PL experience behind them yet.

Great goal from Goodnight!

Will we see both him and Enciso back next season?

Now if the choice for success is between Forest and Chelsea, then obviously I'm 10000% behind Forest.

But after the 7-0 and then them ruining our season by beating us in the cup, I will be faintly amused if one of OUR players ends up scoring the goal that ruins theirs.

There is a scenario where 9th gets Europe. But for that to happen Chelsea need to finish outside the top 5. This result doesn’t help us, good goal though!

Even Zaha was a good egg when it comes to things that matter. He was no Joey Barton.
Yeah, that's the difference between pantomime villain/palace twat and a pure scumbag.

Unfortunately Eze isn't even a pantomime villain. I've tried getting worked up about him but he just seems like a nice enough guy who doesn't actually give too much of a shit about the rivalry so doesn't do anything particularly provocative. He just seems to be a decent player who plays for a bellend club. Unlike Zaha who knew exactly what was what and acted accordingly.

I just can't see Eze ever doing a Maupay type celebration, or a duffy or a Sanchez trying to get in a fight with the holmsdale. He'll just play well and then go about his business. Hopefully from next season with someone other than palace.
