I've never posted here before but couldn't not share the fact even when watching at The Terrace and there's no rush for anyrhing, a surprising number of people left a few mins before he 90. It's like it's hardwired into them.
Anyway carry on as you are, I won't interupt again.
You waited 2 1/2 years to post your first post and it’s complaining that a few fans left early?

Who are you? 😂

I'm happy with the 0-2 result today. Not too much trouble from wolves tbh. Until the 2nd went in I was a little nervous but all-in-all a good win. Oh . . . and I got another point in the predictions.

A nice day out in the sunshine. We were much better than in the first half of the season at killing the game off.

The lack of nerve to shoot was still annoying - especially in the first half, with their keeper miles out of position. Still, a win. The Wolves fans around me on the train back were going on about how organised and professional Brighton were - and wishing they could be like that…

Since we first played them in 1979, our league record is W20, D16, L3

Can't think of any other club we have such a good record against in my time of following the club?
Wow..!!!

We seem to do well against West Ham too, particularly in the PL era, but probably nothing like as well as that

So he didn't attempt to play the ball? Need to see a replay.

Ok, I think he was hoping to get the ball, and just got tangled:

I’ve honestly got no idea what the law regarding this is anymore. I’ve even some similar goals given and some rules out.

If the law is if Minteh is obstructing the keepers view in an offside position then it’s offside so that should’ve taken less than 10 seconds to rule out.

If he needs to attempts to play the ball then again why has it taken so long to call it he clearly swings his foot in a motion to kick ball.

Honestly as far as I’m concerned if the player doesn’t touch the ball, then it shouldn’t be offside. Would be a much simpler and fairer rule if they brought that in.

Really, really enjoyable and impressive away day today. Never felt Wolves would hurt us - and that is testament to how superb the defence was. Which is a really nice thing to be able to write. Webster was so smooth and in control. Likewise JPvH. Weiffer was just excellent and played so well on that (daft) yellow (MOTM for me). Pervis too had a quietly good game and Bart made some excellent saves.

Glad I took my shades (thanks NSC posters for the sun tips). Had some great pre-match beers in the mixed and very friendly fanzone. Wow those lads and lasses pulling the pints in the bar/van were fast! Clearing a 50M, three abreast bar queue in 5 minutes! Sign em up at the Amex Tony FFS!

Minteh worked his socks off (esp first half) and chucked in the obligatory poor decision - but you can’t fault the lad’s heart and effort.

Ayari was nice and tidy. Baleba strong (if unspectacular today). Welbeck incisive when he needed to be. I’ve written my thoughts on MOR on the MOR thread but he was the main and only disappointment really for me.

Gruda came on and was excellent, lively and full of purpose. Absolutely chuffed he got his first goal. All in all, a marvellous away day in the sun and Europe very much a possibility again👏

My post was about the penalty, and the defender attempting to play the ball.

Re our disallowed goal, I think Minteh stopped their defender having a chance to intercept the shot.

On a slow, and delayed, train home but still happy.

Wolves were poor, but even when we handed them chances I wasn't really concerned today as felt we had it generally under control.

Adingra (especially) and Gruda were both pretty poor after coming on - both were tracking back like they had been playing for the whole game and were getting pelters as they jogged back.

I said if we continued to slag them, one would score, even better an assist and a goal.

You're all welcome. 😎
