I’m very confused (not difficult)

Right, here are a few options:

1) Go to the match and stay till the end applauding the players and staff.

2) Go to the match arriving and leaving at whatever time you like.

3) Don’t go the match if you wouldn’t normally (I.e you only watch on the box or only make a few matches in the season)

4) like option 3 but claim you’re boycotting

5) Don’t go to the match despite the fact you’d normally go but switching it to Monday has made it impossible (I.e work or childcare commitments) while having the right hump but begrudgingly accepting this is what the club signed up for when getting promoted.

6) Don’t go to the match despite the fact you’d normally go but switching it to Monday has made it impossible (I.e work or childcare commitments) but claiming you’re boycotting despite the fact you couldn’t go anyway.

7) Boycott the match and watch it on Sky

8) Boycott the match and do something else instead.

Ultimately, it’s a free country and we all support the club but we often do it in different ways

Now I'm confused ???

That sounds good

Rather than a match at the Amex, the boycott should absolutely be associated with this event in Brighton instead! 😵‍💫

Going to be a record number of away fans in home end isn’t there? Busy night for the high viz folk

It will be hard to be sure though what with the Sussex, Kent and Surrey accents.
I had my usual Liverpool ‘supporting’ (he lives in East Grinstead) colleague asking me if I could get him a ticket, “No sorry” was my well worn reply without actually checking if I could. It annoys me more than it should.

The presence of away fans in the wrong end, in small number, doesn’t really bother me, it’s all about how they behave.

When I had no chance of getting a Palace ticket a mate of mine had no problem with getting me one for the Holmsdale (championship days)
I had a few beers with him and his mates pre match and for the first half just sat on my own in a different block.
When I met them for a beer at half time they were pissed as was I and insisted I stood with them as no one really cared if people squeezed in. It was right in the middle of that “woah woah” lot. It was fuckin horrible. I had to keep my mouth shut as Ashley Barnes scored an equalising penalty.

f*** him off. NO NO AND NO

f
How many fans of other clubs that want their kids to support Brighton do you think we have in the home stands since the Amex opened?

Put it this way, if you banned every person in the Amex that might support another club other than Brighton - there will be a lot more empty seats than we’ve been seeing recently!!

That’s what I am thinking. He is bringing his son up an Albion fan because my daughter insists so I cut him some slack. I told him there was no way we’d have a plastic grandson. It’s still wrong I know.
Absolutely, bringing up his son as an Albion fan, good on him. As long as he doesn’t celebrate a goal or make any stupid comments, no problem at all.

Not how it works, bringing away plastics into home end is a big NO

The OP is boycotting telling anyone what he is on about.

On what basis are people boycotting the game?

Surely not because we are in a bad run of form?
Is it because the the pies have gone down hill?
surely you're just being your usual , obtuse self ?......the moanerati were proposing a boycott in reaction to the match being moved to 8.30 p.m on a Monday rather than the original , perfect time slot of 3.00 p.m on Saturday arvo at the behest of Sky for their broadcasting preferences , pissing a lot of fans off as the last chance to see us at home this season will precipitate an arrival back home of well after midnight in most cases.....therefore a boycott of the game has been mooted/suggested on line by the moanerati with minimal reaction as far as I'm aware , hope this helps.
