Isn't a 'perfect storm' performance an exceptional one, where it all comes together?
And things not happening at all for the opposition though….like having no midfield :lolol:

Big wake up call for FH too that game

Forest were unbelievably lucky with injuries and rub of the green until very recently too. All falling apart now though…

That you have seen?

May seem an odd one but the team that had me most worried as I was watching this season was Bournemouth at the Amex, even though we won!

Not Forest 7-0 for me, as it was a perfect storm game for them and the scoreline flattered them imo

You?
Funnily enough I'm inclined to agree with you. It felt a bit like a basketball game where you expect to score in possession.

Forest were magnificent in the 7-0. They saw what was in front of them and picked it apart tactically and both their assists and finishing were excellent. The Elanga corner for Gibbs-White’s goal was right in front of us. It was an absolutely perfectly delivered corner. You can say “perfect storm” if you want but they just looked like a side in complete control who weren’t going to miss a single chance.

Like others, though, at home it was Bournemouth. That was a superb game of football and one of the highs of the season.

At home, another vote for Bournemouth. It's handy that their form dipped for a while. I think their top players will be cherry-picked - aptly enough - in the summer as I'm sure I read they're thought to be sailing close to the wind in PSR terms. Plus they'll do very well to hang on to Iraola.

Finishing above them would be a hell of a performance.

Hopefully they get picked apart in the close season, Instead of us
Losing their manager would be a hammer blow imo. In some ways though I’d love to hear a small team manager refuse offers and want to finish a project. He has something as special with them as we had with RDZ until he lost his shit

Not been away so can only comment on the homes.

Bournemouth easily the best side.

The games we lost were either someone did a number on us, villa stands out, or we buggered them up, like Fulham.

None of the top teams played well at the Amex which is huge testament to us.

I think Southampton second, Liverpool third.

Away that I've seen on the TV, muff again were very good. Incredible we got 6 points against them

Luckily they were nearly as injury ravaged as us in the Amex game I think?
