For my money the dressing room should be out of bounds to everyone, save the manager, coaches, and the playing staff.

What goes on in the dressing room, stays in the dressing room.

I don’t think Clubs will be as resistant to this as you think.

The big Clubs already stream recorded dressing room footage to flog on their own channels and we have trialed it ourselves over the past few seasons. Don’t you remember the half time interview with Hürzeler?

Most football players are performative and lets be honest and most of the ’work’ to win matches is done before matchday in training. I don’t think it will reveal any secrets. We already have seen post-match (really boring!) videos from the dressing room with FH going “Guys, guys, guys” every other word!

I also think there will be other options to appease TV companies if access to the dressing room is refused by some Clubs.

Totally wrong… the dressing room should be off limits to all bar the players and the coach. It is enough to cause a player’s rebellion.

Happens in La Liga and many other leagues across Europe. Also get pitch-side player interviews at half-time and at end of game
