I'd quite like Coventry to be wiped from the face of the Earth.
Bit harsh on VE Day. Coventry was nearly wiped from the face of the earth during the war.I'd quite like Coventry to be wiped from the face of the Earth.
Out of curiosity, why?I'd quite like Coventry to be wiped from the face of the Earth.

I don't like Coventry.Out of curiosity, why?
Always believing you are GOLDMy brother in law was a sky blue menace in the 70s and 80s.
I hope they make it.
Then I can treat him to seeing how football has changed for the better,
as we lose to a breakaway gold in the 93rd minute at home to them next season.

Sunderland have been off the boil ever since they realized they would finish fourth regardless of how their run in went - they’ve only won two and drawn two in two months.Interesting how none of the play off teams were in good form in the final ten matches of the season. Sunderland in the bottom three.

Genuine question, has it ever been the case that the teams who got relegated from the top tier weren’t the strongest in the division? Providing they weren’t in a basket case spiral, the relegated sides are always favourites for promotion in any league - was the gulf between the championship and league one to big this season?I worry about football. I went to the game tonight. The same day as Man United and Tottenham have got into the final of the Europa league and @El Presidente posting about our financial figures and the general spending in the Premier League last year. And yes we can say that the cat was let out of the bag years ago, but something feels far more acute now. The golf between Bristol City and Sheffield United was enormous. And Sheffield United were able to bring on Tom Davies and Rob Holding. Yet they finished way below Leeds and Burnley. And we know that all three teams are likely to at least struggle next year. So the question is just how big is the gap between the middle or even lower parts of the top of the Champ and the worst teams in the Premier League? Clearly, it’s never been so huge. It’s all but for the grace of God, isn’t it? We’re lucky enough not to have to worry about that gulf. But the way that the rich continually get richer and everyone else just seems to be getting further and further away from us is depressing I think.
