Agreed about the statue. If any club is going to have a statue then surely this is it. As you said, we probably wouldn’t even have a club if it wasn’t for him.We owe everything to Dick Knight.
Not taking anything away from what Tony Bloom has done/is doing - but without Dick Knight, none of it would be possible. There would be no Falmer Stadium, and in all likelihood, no BHAFC as we know it.
What he did was incredible. Not only did he keep the club alive on life-support, but this period was also the most successful in its history, in terms of silverware.
I really do think we should have, and would love to see, a statue of him at the Amex.
