I think we all know it was in jest- but I think it does show the deeper mindset at Arsenal. The inability to fully accept they aren't the best. From the countless whining and excuses after games-never seen that before, no one else gets that card, etc. There is the same mind set in all of the Arsenal fans I have met, either friends or just casual conversations. There is always a reason why they havent won, other than, "we were beaten by the better teams on the day"

Cant be that easy, but you understand what I'm getting at.
Before that awful run they’d won 7 and drawn 2 in the PL. Also for the last 11 games they’ve won 7 drawn 2 and lost 2.

Too much was read into one, admittedly very, poor spell and despite not being at their normal levels outside of that spell they’ve been in top 2 or 3 form for most of the season.
