It's fake.

The markup of the Secretary of Education’s letter was made by user @danielluo_pi and is not an official response by Harvard.
To be fair, the markup was less funny than the original letter. I assume that’s real?

What continues to baffle me is why other world leaders (yes, I'm looking at you Starmer) allow Trump to get away with his bollocks.

Any of those who have had 3 year old kids / grandkids having a meltdown screaming and shouting and throwing their toys around that appeasement does not work. They have to be corrected and told the proper way to behave. Until the likes of Carney, Starmer et all tell Trump "you are talking bollocks" or "this is not the way to behave" or "the naughty step is over there" he will carry on with this appalling behaviour.

His parents should be ashamed of themselves and of him.

Trump is an extremely thick, ignorant bully and the rest of the world should deal with him as such.

Reminds me of that classic Gulls Eye issue, where someone (maybe Roy Chuter, not sure?) had been sent a letter by Bellotti’s solicitors, and he’d marked up dozens and dozens of grammatical errors and sent it back. GE then printed the annotated version.

Trump's latest bout of idiocy on behalf of his puppet-master Putin is to suggest that Russia should be allowed to participate in the 2026 World Cup "could be an "incentive" to end the war in Ukraine.". He has gone completely ga-ga now.

I often imagine that Trumps small brain works like its run by The Numskulls. Would make sense.

Trump is so full of spite and anger - I'm surprised he hasn't yet started criticism of Democrat presidents pre Obama, or maybe I missed it!
Perhaps he'll start on JFK. He was a misogynistic philanderer in the pocket of the mafia so Trump would have lots to target, BUT would be his downfall as he was & still is adored by many all round the world especially in the US.

Trump may have fascistic ambitions and in IMHO is evil, but he is not thick. He knows how to groom people and a lot of Americans fall for it.

Generally most people in the UK have a dim view of Trump, Starmer would do well not to suck up too much and yes call out some of the bollocks, it wouldn't hurt him in the polls. Carney is a master at this, keeping it cordial one to one (in public at least) but making his position very clear

I largely agree.

I do think he’s thick, or at least ignorant in quite a few areas.

I don’t think he knew anything about tariffs before he embarked on his trashing of the U.S. economy.

He doesn’t care either way. Obviously.

Where he is quite clever or at least manipulative is knowing they he doesn’t know things and chicaning his way around them. Largely because he goes unchallenged.

But again, where he’s thick is that he doesn’t realise people know he’s a crook.

Or at least he doesn’t care.

What I’m saying is; he might be thick, he might be clever. As long as he wins, he doesn’t care.

The issue there is that Trump is not a 3 year old struggling to regulate his emotions a bit.

He’s a malignant narcissist. Someone choosing to directly confront one of those better have an escape route planned, because there will almost certainly be a retaliation.

Is it worth the risk of losing our Trident missiles with Russia lurking, or having a big tariff slapped on us with the economy already struggling, in exchange for a bit of temporary catharsis?

Trumps worked it out; get Russia back in the football World Cup as a reward for stopping their invasion. The man’s a genius!
That’s what the “J” stands for in Donald J. Trump

Trump hosting the 2026 World Cup task force yet he was completely unaware that Russia was banned from competing, either his briefing was lacking or as is widely reported regarding briefings Trump just doesn’t listen and why would you especially when you are the worlds greatest ever presiden. He really is a dangerous tit
He also seemed oblivious to the fact, when suggesting they use the WC as an incentive to get Russia to stop the war, that the UEFA Qualifying groups for the 2026 WC have already been drawn and matches already played in some of them.

How does he suppose he inserts Russia into the 2026 WC even if they stop the war on Ukraine tomorrow?!

He just pours irrational streams of consciousness from his big gob and thinks he’s discussing real policy.

First term, he didn’t manage to MAGA, instead he made those earning greater than $837,800 richer through tax cuts targeted largely to the top 1%. With propaganda then and now that he made the average low paid person in West Virginia wealthier.

View attachment 201369
That looks to me that he made everyone richer.
And the richest made most more richer because they work the hardest.
I'm IN!!!

The health of Americans in good hands…

Influencer pick for surgeon general

Donald Trump has tapped Dr Casey Means – a wellness influencer with close ties to Robert F Kennedy Jr, the US health secretary – as nominee for surgeon general. Means has no government experience and dropped out of her surgical residency program to found a health tech company, and makes money promoting dietary supplements, creams and teas.

However, Trump seems optimistic about the potion peddler’s potential…

“Her academic achievements, together with her life’s work, are absolutely outstanding,” Trump said. “Dr Casey Means has the potential to be one of the finest Surgeon Generals in United States History.”

And perhaps most worrying of all…

Casey Means has no government experience and dropped out of her surgical residency program, saying she became disillusioned with traditional medicine.

In her defence, she does seem keen on healthy eating programs.

Must be another positive.

An expert in tea might be good for Britain....somehow?
