Isn't it on Sky or TNTDoes anyone know if there will be a live stream of the Victory Parade on Friday?
Personally, I think it should go ahead. Ukraine deserves the recognition.
There will be, absolutely.Beware of the response from a bitter and humiliated Putin.
That's a lot of drones
The first reply from Akash sums up my feelings
Darin Gerdes explaining the Ukrainian operations today.
How about this at 00.39,
'Rumors (unconfirmed) that Russia has deployed c.280 air defence systems for the 9th May parade in Moscow, with additional units from Kazan and Grozny'.
A few days ago, I speculated that Zelensky was playing Putin, and seeking to draw his air defence systems to Moscow, thereby leaving other targets exposed. What I didn't see coming was the sheer scale of the deception and the resultant attacks by Ukraine. And there may be more to come.
I imagine the tracks are from where Russian radar picks them up,as you surmised, but it's a guessThis is just an observation. See that map.
I don't know how accurate it is, or if it just tracks drones from where the Russian systems pick them up, but it would appear that many of them don't actually originate in Ukraine. Many appear to originate from within Russia. This could be completely wrong and a red herring of course.
Akash wrote a poignant reply. But I was drawn to the one from Lawrence Duff.

That's odd - it's not there any more.I imagine the tracks are from where Russian radar picks them up,as you surmised, but it's a guess.
I can't see Mr Duff',s reply, or it's a second level?
ahh, ok - do you think a combination of "swamp Moscow" or "Gaza rubble" satisfies Musk's auto deletion criteria?? Actually I thought Musk had said it's open season, but maybe he has his personal dislikes. That's odd - it's not there any more.
The gist of it was that Ukraine, at least going by the production aim of 4 million drones by year end, can keep deploying at the rate they are now. They can swamp Moscow and wider Russia if the target is within range. After they have exhausted Russia's air defences, they will be unopposed and can 'turn Moscow to Gaza rubble'.
That was roughly what the tweet said.
You're probably right but obviously I can't be sure.ahh, ok - do you think a combination of "swamp Moscow" or "Gaza rubble" satisfies Musk's auto deletion criteria?? Actually I thought Musk had said it's open season, but maybe he has his personal dislikes.
Right, yes, astonishing drone numbers. I hadn't quite got my head around them until you spelled it outYou're probably right but obviously I can't be sure.
I was more taken by the numbers. The attacks involved a maximum of 477 drones (some of them were missiles I understand). That still 'only' equates to 174105 drones annually. Obviously there are drones and drones - some will take considerably longer to build than others - but that figure is still only 4.3% of the 4 million that Ukraine is aiming to build this year.
