The section of the stand I was in was full of Brighton apart from a family in the front row in their Hereford shirts. When they scored they went mad everyone else stayed firmly in their seats.
I was in their family stand over the other side. Plenty of Brighton fans appeared when we scored. I distinctly remember a couple of hard-as-nails Albion fans getting booted out of their equivalent of the north stand before kick off… they took a bit of a beating after revealing their Albion colours

Our exit from the stand was down the stairs and through that lot, we legged it to the brighton end as soon as the whistle went otherwise it would have been a tad risks.

I remember being very envious of the Brighton end going wild when we scored and at FT. We never made it across - you must have got over to the other side before the line of riot police formed

Nice bloke is Orms. Gave him a lift to Gillingham a couple of times. Played bass in a band which I saw at the Portland one night. Would have had a better career in a better team. How we struggled in those few years.

@sneakygeorgeparris how was the experience going on the official pod?
Really amazing to visit the training ground. It felt bizarre to be the person being interviewed. Both Glenn and Paul were really warm and it was a joy to chat about that pivotal season with them. It made us all yearn for Fans United and fans joining together when one club is affected by poor ownership.

Brilliant! They both come across as very genuine characters
