I always that Aaron & Fabs were both "ausgezeichnete Männer" and would have made a great duo. Too bad it didn't work out.

Looks like he has been released again. I think he needs to drop two levels and have a serious target of staying somewhere for 3 seasons. Bromley / Swindon / AFC Wimbledon or someone like that. Accept he is not going to be a rich footballer, but that he is still doing something that 99% of us would absolutely love to do.

I really hope he is doing his coaching badges because he is now potentially one more failure away from being done with football as a career. He does seem to have sorted some personal demons, so really good luck to the guy. I hope he can make it work at a proper League One / Two club rather than playing for Worthing.

The idea that the he was good enough to ever make it at the Albion now seems absolutely laughable.

We gave him that four year deal off the back of the spurs game so he can’t be badly off . Unless he’s spent it living his best life.
I am sure he’ll put some deep thought into your Bromley suggestion but more likely will head to MLS or Saudi.

He’s over half way through the deal and had only got onto the pitch 4 times I think. I’m pretty confident this will turn out to be a waste of time
As predicted. He really needs to have a think about what it is he wants, and be realistic with this.

Why would the MLS or Saudi want a failed Championship footballer who nobody over there will have heard of? I'm sure he'd absolutely jump at that chance if it came, but it's not going to.

Yep none of this is any surprise really is it? That fifteen minutes of success at the Albion went to his head, maybe his advisors, and all the hangers on were telling him he was the real deal, better than he really is.

Football sadly is littered with stories like this.

A good agent could probably spin his career in such a way that he could get a deal somewhere.
There are loads of failed British / Irish footballers knocking around foreign football.
Indian league for example have many uk players with worse cvs than Aaron .
Surely that would be more fun than league two .
I’m not saying it would end well for the club he joined btw!

It's not laughable at all.

He had the physical and technical ability but at such a young age, it's was very difficult for the club to ascertain that he didn't have the required mentality. With such amazing natural ability, you can see why we and a few other clubs persisted with him in the hope that his form would click.

No it isn’t, this is the sad thing. I do think there’s a football career for him but lower down the leagues. He also seems like someone who could do with being settled. I just wish his advisors would help him find a lower league club where he can establish himself both on and off the pitch . I doubt this will happen and they’ll continue to chase bigger clubs but with temp or short deals.

We’ll see.

I always thought he'd end up at Wrexham, but perhaps them being promoted to the Championship makes that less likely.

Alongside the Vardy rumours, there's also been talk of them going after Patrick Bamford. Currently on about £70k per week it seems so depends how much they intend to splash the cash.
