Oh well, our three tickets in WSU sold on the exchange for this fixture

Both WSL and ESL had widespread no shows/unsold for the WHU game. ESL was very noticeable on MOTD. At the time I wondered if the true attendance was 25k?

On 60 minutes.

I wasn’t overly fussed about the “pretendance” before, but it’s starting to look daft to claim 32,000 (or whatever) when there’s clearly significant tranches of unused tickets.

We have enough match by match fans that the exchange opens and then quite a few exchange tickets are bought - that doesn’t seem to be a problem.

We’ve still got everything to play for, our 2nd highest top flight points haul with 3 still to play, but it seems thousands of ST holders aren’t attending either yesterday or v West Ham. If it’s ‘apathy’ then we have a seriously fickle fan base.

Think I might join the ‘boycott’ for the Liverpool game.

No reason for it to be on TV on a Monday night and I can’t be arsed with the transport congestion for an 8pm kick off on a school night.
Sadly three of us will also be boycotting !! 8pm on a weekend bad enough but Monday 8pm is just s..t.

I don’t really get the no concessions prices, I get that the club refund an adult ticket but someone paid for that adult ticket originally so at the end of the day all is even.

Friend of mine tried to put a ticket for his child on the exchange yesterday but it wouldn't let him. He wasn't the only one near where I sit

That, the 2k unsold @Bozza has posted plus those delayed plus those who gave up en route and those who didn't bother even trying to put on the exchange and I suspect there was less than 27k in the ground yesterday.

That is ominous for the club especially as season tickets aren't sold out next season.

2,001 unsold seats today for Newcastle when I checked just before kick-off (well, took screenshots on my phone which I've just got round to adding up).

W3G (my block) had the most seats for sale with 92.
i wonder how many wont attend the Liverpool match.

if people aren't going i hope they won't put them on ticket exchange. that would be a passive protest against the ludicrous kick off time, which will undoubtedly lead to crap journeys home on the trains (if you wait to applaud the team for their endeavours this season).

Might also highlight our importance to the club, as we appear to be a bit of a pain in the arse to them at times.

I've heard there won't be a post match players parade round the pitch. Suspect the club are cognisant of the lens of it being done in any empty stadium

That’s a damned shame. You need that bond between the team and supporters. Away fans get it a lot at the end of a match but the last home match is also an opportunity to say goodbye to some.

Despite it being a ball ache with a late bed time followed by an early alarm, we will be at the Liverpool game. Ages to the next game eh?
