Bloody hell.

We nearly got away with that, even with the ref having an absolute shocker and giving every possible thing he could to the geordies.

God knows what Ayari was thinking for the p.k. Bart must be gutted, he made an absolute worldy of a save form the free kick only for that stupid hand ball.

At least we didn't lose and the European dream is still just about alive. We'll probably need 7 points from the last three games, maybe 9...
Definitely 9, imo - not impossible, but sadly even if we did, we now have to hope others drop points from their final 3 games. Someone said they rate our chance at 10%....I'd be a little more optimistic and say 38.45% :)

TBH would be really want Conference League football? 7000 mile midweek trip to Kazakstan isn't ideal.

I would rather we miss out and try again for Europa league.
I’d argue winning the conference league is an easier route to the Europa league than our league position is. Chelsea have strolled it playing their B team for the whole competition

Liverpool at home will be very tough wolves are in great form the best in the league and Spurs
Will playing for the starting line up in europa final I hate to say it but I think we will finish 10th or 11th which will still be on of our best league finishes in our history
I'll be more than happy if we don't finish high enough to qualify, simply because it removes the nightmare of a Palace FA Cup win depriving us of a European place.

Liverpool's form was poor leading up to the Spurs game and there's a decent chance they won't be arsed

Wolves form relied entirely on a freak set of fixtures, where they played the bottom 6.

The Europa League final is BEFORE we play them.

Other than those facts.
You make a superb argument.

Good point, decent enough performance.

Gomez really should have won it at the end. Silly from Ayari. But we got a fair bit of luck today at times.

Think we can be satisfied with a point - as our chances of Europe are still very much still on.
I agree 😮

The ref was appalling, probably one of the worst performances from an official that I can remember.

We defended well, big mistake by Ayari but Gomez needs to bury that header too. I'm not a fan of VAR, but in fairness, VAR stopped an incompetent ref losing us this game 3-1...

Brentford are the big threat now IMO.

Bournemouth have Villa and Man City before a gimme against Leicester. Fulham have Everton, Brentford and Man city. Brentford have Ipswich, Fulham and Wolves. We need Fulham to get a result against them. I assume that both teams consider that a derby?
