Everytime he has stepped up i.e Norwich.

They wouldn't spend a dime and kept their championship squad.

Not even Pep could avoid relegation in such circumstances
Pep is used to being backed by an oil-rich state and being able to buy and pay the best players in the world. I reckon he’d struggle with the budget of any club in the bottom half!

Of course they got loads of jammy wins. Yes they sit back but this relied on freaky good finishing from wood but again this has stopped as the variance plays out.

Since they beat us on pens they have won 2 games.

Beat Man U 1-0 who absolutely battered Them but missed chance after chance. They had more than 20 shots with 6 on target and an xG of close to 2. How on earth Maguire didn’t score I don’t know. Forest had a handful of shots and xG was 0.5. Forest got very lucky.

They beat spurs 2-1 who again battered them. 22 shots vs 4. XG over 2 vs not quite 0.5.

They drew against Liverpool and beat Liverpool this season and were dominated in both games. But took their chance while Liverpool had one of those games where they finished like absolute morons. It happens. They also won at old Trafford when United simply kept missing simple chances.

They have won lots of tight matches where a decent break has gone their way with a fortuitous goal.

Don’t forget they have had had very very few injuries. They could easily struggle next year with the demands of Europe.
Think we'll have to agree to disagree on the 'jammy wins' front. I've always been firmly of the opinion that league positions tell no lies. Lucky cup runs?.... absolutely!, but teams are exactly where they deserve to be at the end of a league season.

Forest have been a very good team this season. Very well organised and hard to break down. Extremely ruthless in attack when hitting teams on the break.

They're probably a much better team than the sum of their parts. In that regard, I will agree with you on the injury front. That has helped them massively without doubt, imho.

You’re not knew to this so I am surprised I have to explain this:

Jammy wins = beaten Albion at least once this season or refers to Palace in general.

Similarly, if a referee has had a bad game it means he’s out to get us and if some media gobshite doesn’t give us the credit we think we deserve or a Leeds fan is less than modest in his outlook about his team we have to create a entire thread about it to show how measured and proportionate we are in compariso.

I hope this helps 😁

Fair enough. Game of opinions.

Since they beat us 7-0 in that ridiculous match they have won 4 matches Out of 15. Two of those were spurs and united who both battered them but simply could not score as they kept missing sitters.

Next season with Europe i will be shocked if they are top half and expect them to be in a relegation battle.
