He lost his temper with and was rude to the press when he needs them on his side. He has anger management issues and had similar form with us. It looks like he will never learn or be able to control his emotions. And no, I don't hate him and find talk of hate childish.

The dull part of the south coast
Firstly I don't hate the man, secondly, my dislike for him is far from contrived. All the whatabout examples have one glaring omission, those people didn't f*** us over at the start of the season, just as all the years of patience and trust we had placed in them was starting to pay dividends.

As for contrived, I can't think of a better example than the M23 derby, especially as the primary cause of the "hatred" went on to manage Palace, clearly he thought the whole thing a tad overblown
The only reply I can give on this one is “It is what it is.” :lolol:

If they don’t give him at least one transfer window and a pre season they are bigger mugs than I already think they are. His MO is blindingly obvious and he needs time to implement it. If they have a decent youth programme he will likely use some too.
In truth they didn’t play any worse than us on Saturday and it’s a squad he inherited so I’d say he’s doing OK

He needs backing in the summer transfer window, or they might as well sack him now.

I am old enough to remember when WHU, Spurs and United all played great football, none of them do any more.

My word that article strikes hard.

"The urge has only grown stronger since the move to the new stadium, which remains by far the worst place in the country to watch football."

🎯 spot on, it's a terrible football ground.

"Potter, meanwhile, is practically a carbon copy: a man whose career is defined by neatly choreographed possession football, by sideways passing and nothingness in the final third. His Premier League record at the time of writing (at Brighton, Chelsea, and West Ham) is 170 goals in 156 matches, or 1.01 goals per game, significantly fewer than Moyes or Lopetegui."

OUCH! A statistically backed, longer (but less funny) version of The Guardian's "all passing, no scoring performance art project".

"The issues run even deeper, however. Under Potter, West Ham have no discernible style to speak of, the football ambling and futile as they drift towards summer. Whether that’s his fault or not is up for debate.

Either Potter has failed to implement his system and it is already too late for his ideas to take hold, suggesting another change will come around autumn this year, or it just isn’t possible to make bold tactical changes at a team floating helplessly in mid-table."

Or, maybe, both?

Until West Ham changes owners I think they'll be stuck in this limbo.

"As I get older I care less what you guys [the media] think, to be honest," he said.

"I'm happy to just be myself. And if myself is that I'm annoyed after we've conceded two goals in three minutes, then I'm damned if I do and damned if I don't.

"On the one hand you're having a go at me for being too nice, or for whatever. You get criticised for being too nice or too emotional.

"At the end of the day we are not winning so you have to accept that. My reaction was a human reaction from a football manger.

"I'd be surprised if there were too many other managers who would give you any other emotional reaction than what you got from me."

Sounds more than a little stressed,

Jeez, he still looks rattled as hell. It's almost like he's trying to come across as a coach that he thinks West Ham fans want to see. However, he's just coming across as someone really feeling the pressure, whilst projecting a quite unpleasant demeanour.

It's odd that he goes on to claim that with age, he cares less what the media think, but then shows us just how much he cares about what the media think.

One thing doesn't change though, the teeth sucking.

That interview reminded me of the one billiç gave a few years back after a certain south coast club beat them and just before he was sacked.
