Some people's bonuses depend on good feedback.
How much would it cost you?
I have no problem with giving good feedback and recommendations. I sometimes do, when it is appropriate.

Alongside that, I don't give good feedback when it isn't appropriate.

This thread was posted in the context and with the unwritten understanding, that the feedback would not have been good. In this context, the automated phone call asking me for feedback, was intrusive and unwelcome. It's a long story Harry.

I don’t mind giving a bit of anonymous feedback, but there is no way that I am letting the seller or some ratings site post my real name and location online. And I wouldn’t trust any online review that didn’t have a real name, date and location

Drives me nuts. Every purchase made online and then being chased for reviews/feedback/comments. Imagine going into a shop and having the shopowner chasing you down the street asking for feedback.
i even had one from a ruddy car park!

I only do the surveys if they deserve a crap rating now as there are too many. I recently rated a company 3* on Trustpilot after a fairly significant purchase........messages re the actual issue were being ignored but whatever team it is that monitor their ratings got in touch immediately. Long story short the issue was never properly resolved despite weeks of me chasing but I couldn't be arsed to take it further so accepted what they eventually offered. I then got another email immediately asking me to please revise my 3* rating 'to reflect their successful handling of my complaint'.

I immediately went on to Trustpilot and removed two more stars, and replied saying they only got one star because I couldn't give none. Won't use again 😂
I've seen your reviews on many sites!
