[Albion] Question for those that live OUTSIDE of Sussex, how visible is your support of The Albion?

Just to lighten the mood, a question about how we’re perceived in other parts of the country.

If you live OUTSIDE of Sussex (and Brighton and Hove!!) how visible is your support, for example:

Is your car well stickered up?

Do you wear an Albion jacket, polo, hat etc when you go to your local pub or to work?

Do your kids, or even yourself wear a replica shirt at football training or out for a run etc?

Have you got a flag flying in your front garden?

or do you generally not wear colours and only declare your allegiance when asked?

In a pile of football shirts
For the purposes of your question do people who live in Brighton and Hove count as those that live outside of Sussex?

Does this include those who live in Brighton?

That’s it now, thread derailed.
On the buses there is an East Sussex ticket that is NOT valid in Brighton and Hove.
I generally don’t argue with the public and I always let them on however I do point out why the ticket isn’t valid, you can imagine their counter argument to which I reply chapter and verse. It’s pretty painful 🤣🤣

For playing 5 a side, I have a whole load of player-issue Albion Errea training gear, bought for pennies from one of those brilliant Amex concourse sales, back in the day.

You’ll likely find me kitted out in Wayne Bridge’s black and green shorts, Gary Dicker’s waterproof training top, and any one of a number of pairs of Errea socks.

I live in a little town in Wiltshire, obviously there's not many of us out here though I did bump into two Albion fans in my local when our Europa away games were on.

It just so happens that my boy (who is an STH with me) has a best friend from school whose grandad is a lifelong Albion fan who lived in the area and still goes to games now despite being in his 80s. He took him to his first game at the weekend (he had claimed to be an Arsenal fan up to this point) and got him a shirt with his name on the back and it seems he is now a fully-fledged Albion die-hard. He came to our house wearing it on Sunday and my two boys also put their Albion shirts on for a kickabout on the common, we got some very puzzled looks :lolol: I saw him wearing it at school today as well, so there's at least four of us over here doing some good representing now 😬

My son is known as the "Brighton fan" in his school which is in Warwickshire. He's the only one which is predominantly Cov but also Villa, Birmingham and the odd Leicester fan.

He's had Brighton rucksacks, coat, lunchbox, stickers and of course every Albion football shirt under the sun. It's a source of great pride that I drop him off at Football training almost always in a Brighton top living where we do.

When he was little we used to have a Brighton flag on top of his slide which was visible to my neighbours. Looked really weird when Cov made the Johnson's paint trophy final and that was the flying amongst others in the middle of it.

Many people are sadly confused by municipal bodies and historic counties. It's a shame and it'll disappear when we are all one again.

My kids are both full Albion kit wankers, wear them all the time. Eldest wore his full Georginio kit to football training tonight. They also have various training and leisure clothes they wear regularly. They also use Albion stationery at school and their Albion school bags and lunchbags

I have Albion cap and beanie hat I wear all the time. Obviously as a 43 year old man, I don’t wear replica shirts out and about - the last one I bought was when Bobby came back and that gets an airing in the house but never outside! I don’t like the leisure wear stuff so never wear that.

Those Albion towels they sent Albion + members get used a lot in public. Albion mugs, coasters.

Play football in my Albion shorts and go to the gym in my Albion hoodie.
When we got promoted had BHA flags from the windows and when we beat United for the first time at the Amex relaunched the flags just to piss off my United supporting neighbours
I definitely keep our end up in Man Utd land.
When people ask me who I support and they laugh ( United fans) I remind them of our league positions and our recent league clashes.
I used to hate United but we’ve certainly turned the tables on them.
( I live in the red side of Manchester).

@Sarisbury Seagull

I thought it said Salisbury, I’ve just googled Sarisbury. You’re right in the mix! 🤣
Yeah it’s always mixed up with Salisbury!

We do have a 50/50 split of Saints and Pompey here. Interestingly though, where mine and my sons team train on a Wednesday night, there is always another lad in a Brighton shirt on the next pitch.
