I'm just leaving the ME but I definitely moisturised and used sun lotion most days. The interesting thing is that the doctor said I was a little low on Vitamin D, I am very well tanned and in the sun a lot apart from July and August, too hot. Apparently it is quite common in ME too have low Vitamin D. Who knew?
Using a very high factor sun protection prevents the sun rays giving you vitamin D.

Got very dry skin, my knuckles get so dry they crack and bleed, probably riding motorbikes in all weathers. I use E45 every day. Game changer. Arms and legs are sleeved with tattoo's so I use E45 on my arms and legs also, makes the tatts look much better, especially as they are 20-40 years old....

My wife has just informed me that I’ve been using all her womanly moisturisers…..
I was alarmed as to what could happen to me.

I’ve moisturised daily since I was about 16.

Boots cucumber daily moisturiser.

I use a body moisturiser after the shower a couple of times a week too.

Gotta take care of that skin. It gets very vulnerable later on in life.

I also cover up in the sun. Hat, long sleeves, factor 40.

With having recurring skin cancers removed for the past 6 years (one only a few days ago) , I think I’ll take the risk of a getting a few broken bones from osteoporosis than dying from metastatic skin cancer!

I use factor 50 as recommended by my Dermatologist even when it’s not sunny - it moisturises skin too - sun damage ages the skin especially if you are outside a lot as I am with my job.

See women can do that. If Gregg Wallace compliments a younger woman he gets a complaint lodged.
True, although in Wallace's case, if he offered a young lady something to moisturise her face with, it almost certainly wouldn't be L'Oreal, the smug Cockney sex pest.

I have used E45, which has merits:

But I switched to this 20 years ago.

The main advantage is it is incredibly inexpensive, while doing the same job.
It was recommended to me by a GU doctor for washing the bishop.
Antiseptic soaps kill the germs including the nice ones,
but they cause dryness, and the nasty bacterial always recover first.
With aqueous cream you could eat your dinner off my knob.
As long as it isn't a piping hot vindaloo.
I'd draw the line at that.

£0.33 per 100 ml versus £2.94.
Do the math(s).
(It is NINE times more expensive.)

Been moisturising ever since I started having to shave. Can’t beat the feeling of freshly shaven and moisturised face.

Have tended to use the one with some sort of SPF since my 20s, and I think it’s served me well in the long term.

Only ever used E45 once, made a basic error at Disney.
Went on a log flume ride early doors, means strolling around with wet shorts for a few hours.
Chaffing you would not believe, agony. Anyway, back to the rented house, a generous application of said gunk in the appropriate places and next morning was ready for action.
