There’s that. And then there’s the fact that Crawley is an unspeakable shite hole where you’re probably barren if you haven’t got four kids by the age of 20, that should be handed to Surrey at the first opportunity.

:moo:

WHAT?
Some of our fans live in Crawley. Where do you live? Just to give them a chance to rip your particular shit hole apart. What a twat.

Your ignorance isn't particularly funny @Guinness Boy. I've never really been on board with this "the bell end shouldn't be a mod".thing, but I think I can see their point. So where do you live then, or are you too much of a coward?

Blimey Sim, didn’t have you down for a sense of humour replacement.

I live about 200 yards from Jeremy Kyle Mile and happily reference it all the time.

Did you miss the cow emoji or something?

Adding a cow emoji doesn't justify writing a load of ignorant shit.

And ripping many NSCers home town apart like you did falls into that category. It's not even funny.

This is claptrap in my opinion. So much so that I don't know where to start. Let's start with the fact that too many on here hated them well before that cup game - many so embarrassingly ignorant that they blamed that football club for not letting us share their ground when we were homeless. Completely untrue. Then there's the game itself - one bad challenge from a lower league clogger. He mistimed a challenge with unfortunate consequences. There really weren't "loads " of other "horror" challenges, it was the fact that we ran rings around them that showed them up to be totally outclassed. That's what usually happens when a top half Prem team meets a team that ends up in league two at the end of the season

.And you're talking as if there were loads of Crawley fans all over SM winding us up about it - as if Crawley have even got loads of fans FFS. In fact, you're obviously so bothered about the well-being of O'Riley that you can't even spell his name right.
If you honestly thought it was just one bad mistimed challenge then you are suited for being a VAR or watched a different game to the rest of us!. The "lower league clogger" has form for it, and it wasn't just a case of running rings around them, and they accidentally clattered into our players, we did that to Grimsby who were totally outclassed yet managed not to try and even up the skills difference by kicking shit out of the brighton players.

That’s unfair and not nice. My wife used to be a teacher at Bewbush first school and I used to work in Crawley for 13 years. It definitely isn’t a “tourist” town but it did have a lot of influx in its early years with people shipped out from the sink estates of London with deeply underprivileged upbringings. I wouldn’t want to live their myself and it lacks character of Brighton (and I dislike the football club after their thuggery at The Amex) but don’t tar everyone there with the same brush please.

Worked there for 25 years and no connection with the place. It's a dump. When the company I work for transferred up from Brighton I entered with an open mind. It didn't take me long to identify the people as cardboard cut outs, soulless and lacking identity. They found it weird for myself as a person from Brighton to support my home team. The workplace had around 300 people and not one person followed Crawley Town. Fair play they not got to the heights of league football.
So happy I changed my job and back in Brighton everyday.
