With Faal back and firing I reckon we’ve got enough to do it. Obviously a massive, massive challenge but I think we’ve got enough game winners to sneak it.

Still absolutely flabbergasted it’s not segregated though, called it when the tickets were announced. Hopefully any potential knobhead contingent don’t turn up, but I reckon we’re looking at a very, very sizeable Worthing following.

Do they have some pwoper nawty top boys? I live 5 mins from the ground so need to know whether to batten down the hatches! :)

Agreed re segregation. I understand why Borough's priority was just sell out the game, but baffling it hasn't been segregated given the numbers that will travel and even the minor potential for something to kick off.

Between the Green Street-wannabe teens and the types who I've only ever seen turn up for the big local games, there's unfortunately a chance something will happen.

But where's their support coming from ? Their owner had a rant about his perceived apathy of the town that revealed he hadn't read the room about how supporters evolve.
Eastbourne is a town that is well blessed for football clubs, not only Borough but also Eastbourne Town and Eastbourne United, both well supported for the levels that they play at.

There are only so many fans to go around.

Which is precisely what he hadn't thought through. Plus despite living 3 mins from ground I'm not going to stop supporting Albion

Record attendance is 3770 against Oxford in the FA Cup in 2005 so not quite
Phenomenal day that was. Rowland having to retake the penalty and sending the keeper the wrong way both times was super special. Plus it earnt Yemi Oudebade the move to Oxford which pumped 20 grand into Borough's coffers.

When I first started going to Worthing games before lockdown one of the positives in my mind was as there wasn’t the same connection so the result wouldn’t have such a big effect on my mood

I miss those days. Absolutely bricking it now.

Think that was the day when two fans were taken out by stray balls in the warm up. Never seen it once but medical assistance needed twice is very rare. Maybe the last terrace crowd surge I was involved in for that penalty as well.

The amount of Worthing fans I’ve seen today is insane, serious takeover on the cards here. Sitting in spoons by the station which was 80% Worthing fans and about 80 teenagers come out of the station with flares and all sorts :lolol:

Line and a shit and then right back on the pints. Love it
