It’s interesting the level of dislike aimed on this thread against the American regime.

The whole movement of Leftism is centred around anti American & anti westernism.

The leftists have typically collaborated with reactionary forces that are against the west so historically they were aligned with the Soviet Union. The leftist feminists would visit the Soviet Union & come back & say what a lovely country it was to live in.

Meanwhile Stalin was killing millions of his own people.

Noam Chomsky for example wrote Manufacturing convent which has influenced the leftists to think the most ridiculous ideologies.

After 9-11 & the collapse of the Soviet Union the leftists started to look for a new ally.

Islamism was starting to take a foothold in the leftist circles & they started to say the same rhetoric they said after Oct 7th.

Oh the jihadis they are just victims of western imperialism. Poor Bin laden fighting against the west despite the fact he was at the time the biggest terrorist in the Middle East.

So the leftists felt they now had a new ally against the west.

Once it was formed they just had to behave in the same way they did when they were aligned with the Soviet Union - that is they knew exactly what was going on but as it was their ally they had to whitewash the crimes of their ally & instead intensify & magnify conversations about anti westernism & how the west is bad and how anything the Islamists do that is evil & wrong is only a reaction to the big bad west.
I can't help but wonder why no evidence or citation has been provided for this.

Donald? Is that you?

“Everyone who criticises Trump is a lefty”
Is a lefty different to a leftist?

Are we all being accused of being one, the other or both?

It's hard to tell with such vagueries.

That utter sham between Trump and Bukele today regarding Kilmar Abrego García was just disgusting.

Each shrugging their shoulders and pretending they are each powerless to get him out of that horrific prison and back to his family.

It's hard to believe this stuff is actually happening.
Totally agree. But given the government have admitted that he shouldn't have been deported in the first place, I would love it if the judge awarded damages to the family for pain and suffering. Let's say a million dollars a day, and then we'll see how difficult it actually is to get him back.

As Trump ‘promised’ in his campaign - concerted effort to carry out increased ICE round ups and arrests
- it’s hardly surprising innocent people are getting caught in the crossfire given this cruel sledgehammer approach to immigration but the failure to correct miscarriages of justice when they are blatantly obvious and the Presidents of both ES and the US have the power to act - well it beggars belief until one looks at the orbits of influence that surrounds Trumpism in the US.

So reminiscent of the forced ‘disappearances’ carried out in periods of fascist rule in South America (eg Chile, El Salvador, Brazil and Argentina) - people being abducted, detained and even killed. Carried out by state-sponsored security forces against anyone perceived as a ‘threat’ to the regime.

Trump’s alignment with leaders from some of these Countries (eg Bosonaro (ex-Brazil) and Bukele, (largely regarded as an influential figure in the rise of MAGA in the US) has little exposure in mainstream media but it’s very real and very chilling.

I always assumed that Naom Chomsky was an atheist, at the very most Agnostic.

Now I find out he is so involved in the church, he has written a book about the creation of convents! So influential apparently that it has changed people's (well those pesky leftists anyway) ideologies.

The convents is one thing but what surprises me is that (s)he's transitioned to the fairer sex in his (her) old age

It‘s amazing how Trump got the Tate brothers out of Romania, but can’t get Abrego Garcia back, when ordered to by SCOTUS. The lie that the USA has no say in it, when it’s paying $6 million to El Salvador to keep them.

See my post above - the cooperation in implementing a shared far right political ideology in the Americas between Bukele and Trump runs deep.

“Despite its small size, El Salvador is crucial for understanding the long-term plans of the far right in the Americas. From fomenting violent civil conflict, to stripping away constitutional rights, to the exploitation of natural resources and migrant workers, right-wing extremists have used El Salvador as a laboratory for their global project.”

“After emerging from a brutal civil war that left deep scars, El Salvador’s transition to peace in 1992 promised democracy and reconciliation. But three decades later, the return of the hard right under Nayib Bukele has ushered in a new era of authoritarianism, mass incarceration, and alignment with global far-right forces—threatening the gains of the postwar era.”

And Project 25 is central to that agenda

Man, I just don’t understand Trump supporters. They deny that Trump said things he’s on video saying. God bless ‘em. There’s got to be some sort of mental illness at work here.

From an acquaintance of mine that had finally given up supporting Trump just before the election
