Has the Terrace helped reduce the queues for the station after the game?

Should make the mezzanine Amex gold or platinum cardholders only, which would help with the queue.

Can't speak about the trains but was surprised that I didn't get caught up in the usual queue of people trying to jump the queue for the Lewes bound trains by going up the ramp for the university. I left bang on the final whistle.

I dont use the trains much, but have noticed a few on here mentioning they've been better. Bus queue on saturday was certainly quicker than usual.

I walzted straight onto a Lewes train on Saturday, leaving on the whistle from the NS.

I left on/around final whistle from my seat on Saturday, walked to the badge, waited about 5 mins for my group. We effectively walked straight onto a train to Lewes - there was one in the station when i started queuing, one came whilst we moved down the ramp and i got onto the third. i was home in North Chailey by 5.55pm. (cars parked about 10 mins from Lewes station) .

Isn't the idea of the new store - being bigger and on two levels - the fact that more people can be in the store at any one time, reducing/eliminating the queues outside?

Now that you don't have the previous queue for Dick's bar, they'll presumably reconfigure the shop queue, so that it is mainly to the right of the shop (as you look at it).

Don't think it will have much additional impact.

Sounds like the Amex card holders aren't getting the elite lounge experience they might have been expecting - especially as the place is packed to the rafters and queueing out the door with every f*cker with their freshly printed freebie version of the card and their three mates

Ha but not sure it was ever meant to be an elite experience - it's just the Dick's Bar queueing experience lovingly recreated

Yes I think so - got the first train to leave Falmer to Brighton after the Leicester game that I could physically get to, I can't remember the last time that happened when staying til after the final whistle (as I always do!)
