Our change in form started when he went off injured at half time v Chelsea in the Cup. The score was 1-1 when he went off.
We then go on to win the game without him on the pitch.
We then win the next 5 games and draw away at Man City.
Dunk is back in the squad for Forest in the cup - we lose on penalties and haven’t won since !!
Coincidence??

A bit harsh to blame the Forest cup exit on him. We didn’t concede in 120 minutes.

No. Baleba needed in CM.

Unless we move Hinsh to CM and actually play Tasker instead of leaving him on the bench. High risk strategy though - in hindsight it's a shame we didn't recall Offiah in January.

I always struggle to understand using players to cover other positions, obviously I appreciate why Hinshelwood is covering at right back, but playing Carlos at CB then weakens the midfield which creates a secondary problem. Would we not be better off using a defender (Cashin?) but have him protected by Baleba.

That was my first suggestion, to play Baleba at CM - though whether to play Cashin or Wieffer alongside Dunk..........? Bit of a Hobson's choice, that!

I really don’t get this Cashin thing. He cost £9million, doesn’t get a start yesterday, then remains on the bench with Dunk clearly struggling. He must be absolutely awful in training.
