What’s that got to do with the point I made. If it happens four times in a season it’s not a freak result.
It has everything to do with the point you made.
You may not have noticed we have a bucketful of injuries at the moment, including a big number of quality defenders. we had 4 kids on the bench today. FH is severely limited in the choice of players he had.
According to the BBC this morning, Leicester had 1 (one) injury doubt. We were in a much more difficult player availability situation than against Ipswich or Southampton, and despite that we could well have been out of sight by half-time without the likes of Rutter and Mitoma being available. So it’s not directly comparable in my view……

That's 'Vienna' to me. The players on the pitch let him down by not earning their keep, imo. How many chances did they have, yet fail individually?
Sometimes tactics can be blamed, but today it was the failure to hit a target that pro players should be able to hit.
It was both.

Football doesn’t work like that otherwise games would be often 6-8 or something and it’s why a 15-20 goal striker at this level cost millions.
So why are we blaming the manager for a result where we dominated the entire first half and most of the second, only lost because our forwards couldn't finish?

that is not on the manager. I've been critical of hurzeler after forest away and wanted him gone, however that spineless pathetic show was on the players. - We've spent £200m on absolute dross.. Clearly doesn't fancy cashin - (even against a championship elsect side at home) doesn't really fancy O'reilly but has no choice to play him really without George...

Can't wait to be called a palace fan again....
It's the 200 million on dross is the telling part, recruitment team?

Has he facked off yet? At least that would make some of you miserablists a bit happier!

I think the players and manager were equally shite today. I’m willing to give him time next season, however I’m not sure those who make the decisions will as well. I want us to build a squad of players that he wants, then he shall be truly examined. I don’t expect us to do that, we’ll continue to make club signings, and then scream at the manager when he doesn’t have the quality to play how he wants to play.

I am getting a bit bored with his persistent excuse that ‘we didn’t get the basics right’. What exactly are these ‘basics’, and why is it seemingly impossible to get us doing them?

Almost everyone who follows Albion knew that this would happen. It's the way we do things. It's baffling and there's no way to make it make sense, but that's how it is.
The reason we knew it would happen was because we have an injury crisis.

When Webbo and Georginio got injured in the cup our season was on the line. When Van Hecke got sent off last week it was dead and buried.

Football is not for the faint hearted.

The issue isn't chances missed? - Are you for real? - We should have been 5-1 at half time min. Leicester have been atrocious against us this season twice - worst team I have seen us play.. We missed endless chances first half.. That's not on the manager. Don't understand not picking Cashin, that's on the manager but I really can't see how this is anything but the players.. Adingra is a disgrace - How does he get near this team... He is so tragic.. Never does anything other than cut inside and either pass sideways or has a tame shot.. He looks no threat, continually does same thing over and over..

Don't get me wrong I think hurzeler has to improve - I was very critical of him after forest and wanted him gone.. however this was 100% on the players today.. Absolute pathetic.
Yes, we should have been 5-1 at half time min, yes we missed endless chances - and who created many of those chances? Adingra. You are way way too harsh on him. He cant do much more than put the ball on Minteh's foot two yards out with a cross -the rest is on the striker...

TBF Minteh pulling his shirt over his head once again when he gets his feet confused from two yards out is getting tiresome.

In 54 appearances for Brighton he's managed 2 assists... That is not acceptable IMO and certainly not "too harsh"
