Did you actually see how many clear-cut chances we had to score, during the match? If so, it's down to individual failure to hit the target.
That's on the players who spurned those opportunities, not the manager.
At what point does is become his issue? Let’s be honest… this isn’t the first time we’ve seen finishing like this, a performance like this, or such tactical naivety, since he’s been in charge…

Two completely differing arguments:
1. No, it's not the first time...nor will it be the last, and that's down to the player with the ball at his feet who misses an easy chance.
2. If the above didn't happen (using today as an example), no one would be bemoaning 'tactics' had we been (rightly) 3 or 4 up by half time.
Fickle is as fickle does.
Anyway, bottom line is we're still in with a very decent shout, given there are 18 points to play for.
I haven't lost hope - have you?

The issue today isn’t the chances missed… it’s leaving us painfully open yet again and making it easy for the opposition to play against us.

And people can blame injuries, but the job of the manager is to adapt to the players you have and the opponent you’re facing…
I agree to an extent that a manager has to be flexible and cope with unavailabilities, but our injuries have been insane today and throughout the season. Today we had 7 unavailable players that would have walked into that starting 11 if fit, and that doesn’t include Milner who has been a complete waste of a squad place and £££ for 2 seasons.

5 of the unavailable players - JPVH, Webster, Veltman, Mitoma and Rutter - have been key players in our best performances. That’s half of the bloody first choice outfield players out, and in the case of the defenders, their back-ups are out as well!

The issue isn't chances missed? - Are you for real? - We should have been 5-1 at half time min. Leicester have been atrocious against us this season twice - worst team I have seen us play.. We missed endless chances first half.. That's not on the manager. Don't understand not picking Cashin, that's on the manager but I really can't see how this is anything but the players.. Adingra is a disgrace - How does he get near this team... He is so tragic.. Never does anything other than cut inside and either pass sideways or has a tame shot.. He looks no threat, continually does same thing over and over..

Don't get me wrong I think hurzeler has to improve - I was very critical of him after forest and wanted him gone.. however this was 100% on the players today.. Absolute pathetic.

Stop dreaming of Europe we’ve got no chance sadly.

They are powerful stats, but why are the players missing chances?

How long are we going to give him? If we put in two equally poor performances against Brentford and West Ham (stats or no stats) surely we have to look at the manager.
I think that it’s clear we’re giving him the full season, otherwise we’re staring down the barrel of another ‘transition’ season next year. It took two full seasons before we started looking sharp under Potter.
We’re trying to break into European spots and we’re still comfortably a mid table prem team with no threat of relegation. If we start asking for the managers head every time we don’t get Europe then we’re going to be Chelsea in no time.

Not dreaming of it, but it's still possible...and not hugely unlikely.
I like an optimist although on this occasion it is very unlikely.
We are missing two many players through injury and what’s left are on the beach more interested in taking pics of their Rolex than giving everything for their club.

I don’t disagree. But overlooking that much of that may well be down to his methods, I still think the responsibility is on him to find a system to utilise the players we have available. And if you’re missing defenders, then you set the team up to protect a weakened defence, not leave it wide open.

I will hold judgement after my Forest rants. If we miss out on Europe he should be under massive pressure if not gone.

Normally I would not say we should expect Europe but:

1. It will be a long time before teams like Man U and Spurs are both bottom half
2. England gets an extra spot this season
3. We haven’t got any other distractions like Europe as others do.

This was an amazing opportunity to get Europe and if we miss it it’s very very poor.
Agree, but add in the fact that our squad is very deep in strength. If we don’t get 8th/ Europe this season, we won’t have a better chance.
We won’t sack FH now, and nor should we but if we fail to get Europe this season then he’s under pressure next season.
Plus we have a ready made replacement next season in Liam Rosenior.
O

Stop dreaming of Europe we’ve got no chance sadly.
It’s not out of the equation to get 8th but I think our injuries will mean we don’t get there.
Desperately need a quick and decent CB this summer. Cashin was seemingly an expensive mistake.

Who is to blame for the players not being able to shoot? I mean, to miss one is unfortunate. To miss ten looks like carelessness.

Who is supposed to coach them to be better? I never understand this free pass people give managers when players aren’t hitting the target. I remember a quote from Ollie Watkins at Villa who was talking about how much better Wmery made him when he came in.

It’s not ALL on the manager, of course the players are responsible for scoring but it’s also still their responsibility to make players better and that include goal scoring.

This.

If your defence concedes every game and your attack is blunt / ineffective every game it will eventually be the manager who cops even though he's not in goal / taking shit shots.
