I truly don't get your point. We had plenty of chances in front of goal - more than Leicester, so it's purely down to the players missing those chances, nothing to do with Dunk.
Players always miss chances Sala missed a few at Fulham last week. That’s why football matches are relatively close games most of the time.
The last three games the last twenty minutes have been shocking due to changes being made by Fab none to our advantage.

Disagree - the game should have been put to bed in the first half, yet the PLAYERS kept missing the target.

The Brighton game today where dunk was caught countless times way up in the wrong half ..... As well as Hinshelwood
Well, I don't really recognise your description of our defending, but even if I accept the point, that was nothing to do with why we didn't win the game today or why we conceded either of the goals, and probably contributed to our attacking overload that should have seen us 2 or 3 goals to the good after half an hour.

Just accept that game ended the way it did because of absolutely shocking finishing at the end of some pretty darn good attacking play, and we nurse our wounds and move on.

We survived the same against West Ham, Brentford, Wolves earlier this season, we can do it again.

Imo, the players out there today had multiple opportunities to score, yet failed. How can that be blamed on the manager? They are paid to do their job - ie hit the target.
If I was a player who missed some of our chances today, the only person I would be blaming is myself.
The thing is, this isn’t the first time, and he’s had a whole season to get the squad gelled together.

There’s too many factors. We’ve made some questionable buys maybe. Minteh for example: eager, but error strewn. Adringa, powder puff shots and seems reluctant to take on his man. Why?

Why are we so ponderous in the first half when attacking? Who is to blame?

I always judge my Fab Out votes on results. By Forest I was voting out, and then I thought he’d surprised me. Now we’ve gone backwards.

I’m not yet in the Out camp, but I see results slipping the same way.

If we’re honest, would we missed him if TB called time?

We were all buzzing after the Chelsea win 3-0. We created far more today. We just finished like idiots. We created better chances today than forest did when they beat us 7-0. We created far more than when we beat spurs.

Freak result today.
It’s not a freak result though is it. The exact same thing happened versus Ipswich and Southampton at home and Leicester away. So that’s at least four times this season. They can’t all be freak results.

Yet I didn't see us as 'ponderous' in the first half, at all. We had numerous chances to score (yet missed the bloody target - again, down to the player), and totally dominated the 45 mins.

Where does the buck stop though?

In all honesty, is anyone surprised by the result?
I saw a stat this morning based on betting odds, that gave each game % of home win, draw or away win.

At 78% Brighton to win at home was the highest % chance according bookies and yet as you say, when I saw it, I honestly thought we'd likely f*** it up somehow.

Whenever a team is on a terrible run there's no better team to play than us.

I will hold judgement after my Forest rants. If we miss out on Europe he should be under massive pressure if not gone.

Normally I would not say we should expect Europe but:

1. It will be a long time before teams like Man U and Spurs are both bottom half
2. England gets an extra spot this season
3. We haven’t got any other distractions like Europe as others do.

This was an amazing opportunity to get Europe and if we miss it it’s very very poor.

I am as frustrated as everyone I’m sure, and there are times to blame the manager, but look at the graph. Should have been out of sight but for some poor finishing. Fab can’t put the ball in the net for them.

How many proper Centre Backs did we have available today? Was it just one? And Dunk not getting any younger

The first twenty minutes we were all over them.

By twenty five minutes they were starting to see a few holes.

We enjoyed our pass it round the back and vertical football but without playing that killer pass forward.

The opening 15 minutes of the second we were relatively bright.

After that, we looked like the team second from bottom rather than Leicester.

It really was a rather shocking performance.

To be honest, I won’t. I just don’t enjoy watching this team with him in charge.

Everyone keeps telling me he’s young and learning… the problem is he doesn’t seem to be learning.

We’ve got half our defence out, so he moves our best midfielder back, but then goes back to his 4-1-0-0-0-5 formation that offers next to no cover for the weaker defence. We then play on the half way line, meaning they’re one to two passes from picking us apart. It’s nonsensical, tactically naive management. I thought he was learning following the Forest result, but the last 3 games have seen a return to the tactical arrogance we saw before.

Anyway, I’ve accepted he’ll be our manager for the foreseeable future… I just don’t see it.

that is not on the manager. I've been critical of hurzeler after forest away and wanted him gone, however that spineless pathetic show was on the players. - We've spent £200m on absolute dross.. Clearly doesn't fancy cashin - (even against a championship elsect side at home) doesn't really fancy O'reilly but has no choice to play him really without George...

Can't wait to be called a palace fan again....

Did you actually see how many clear-cut chances we had to score, during the match? If so, it's down to individual failure to hit the target.
That's on the players who spurned those opportunities, not the manager.

They are powerful stats, but why are the players missing chances?

How long are we going to give him? If we put in two equally poor performances against Brentford and West Ham (stats or no stats) surely we have to look at the manager.
