Just 82? l think that's a pretty good innings personally.

Just about the last of the semi regular stars of Are You Being Served to pass surely?

Different times, apparently they now give a warning on UK Gold when showing because of the depiction of John Inman’s character.
They do that for many old sitcoms now. Even for Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads, they put up a caption stating that the comedy is "of it's time".

And star of the Blue Riband advert:

Top advert. Crap biscuits. Not quite as bad as Taxis. Wafer is always a mistake unless in it's three acceptable forms: KitKat, stroopwafel and pink.

Assumptions about something that might or might not happen on a channel that no longer exists.

Yeah, OK boomer :lolol:

Presumably with a name like that he's not going to be cremated?

I can still sit and watch AYBS when it pops up on gold, but sadly cant identify with Mike Berry's character simply because he was not an original. Shame really.
Always made me chuckle when they sat in the canteen, squashed up on three side of the table in order to face the cameras.

Grace Bros always struck me as being grossly over-staffed, based on customer foot fall. I’m amazed it lasted as a going concern long as it did, given the amount of overhead it was carrying.

How Capt Peacock escaped redundancy baffles me.

I thought they never played this stuff any more ?

TV can't win can it. Don't play it and they accused of censorship, play it with a warning card and they accused of ....

Not actually sure.

Yes - a noticeable lack of customers. Can’t ever recall seeing anyone buying anything
