Today, President Trump has discovered a “beautiful, clean” source of energy. What’s the name of this marvel, I hear you ask.

It’s…coal.

Deregulation ahoy.
Any US journos worth their salt need to call him out to his face, laugh at him, in the white house news sessions.
They'll all be banned, sure, but it needs to happen. Trump needs an adoring audience, deprive him of that.

No, see.....
You dig coal out of the ground, the land doesn't weigh so much and floats higher on the water exposing more land.
And any sea water will flow into the holes and so the water levels will go down, again exposing and creating more beautiful coastline. The most beautiful coastline ever.

YAY..... GO MURRICAHHHHH GO TARRIFFFFFSSS
Genius. Have you considered running for president?

He's reclassified coal as a "Mineral". Can he do that?
A quick Google check will tell anyone its not, and anyone with an ounce of common sense will know its not, but his followers will no doubt believe what he says anyway, & start clammering for the opening of mines so they can send the kids down to "dig baby dig"

He, or his Press Secretary, will probably get round any questions by saying that he meant it "contains mineral elements"....

They've always got a way to get around anything.

  • Why Coal Isn't a Mineral:
    • Coal lacks a definite, consistent chemical composition, and it doesn't have a crystalline structure, which are both key characteristics of minerals.
    • Coal is formed from organic matter, making it an organic substance, not an inorganic one like minerals.
  • Coal as a Sedimentary Rock:
Coal is classified as a sedimentary rock because it's formed from the accumulation and compaction of sediments, in this case, the remains of organic matter.
  • Mineral Matter in Coal:
While coal itself isn't a mineral, it does contain varying amounts of mineral matter, including minerals, poorly crystalline mineraloids, and elements associated with non-mineral inorganics.
  • Examples of Mineral Matter in Coal:
Some coals contain inorganic sulfur, mainly in the form of iron pyrite

Just saw some clips of him delivering an after-dinner speech last night – that apparently went on for nearly TWO HOURS – spouting the same old shit. Rigged elections, Democrats committed treason, Trump is the best and EVERYONE else is bad – fack me, I'm so bored of it and I'm barely exposed to it. I'm genuinely not sure how and why people tolerate it/him.

The funniest thing is he GENUINELY believes that his plans are going to bring the country together and make the US the greatest superpower in the world, seemingly overnight. What a clueless (or, more likely, bullshitting and careless) berk he is.

I heard earlier that the Supreme Court have ruled that the ban on the AP must be overturned so it seems like press freedom isn't dead quite yet

Who the hell wants to dig coal 1/2 mile down in hot dusty dangerous conditions, is that really what the Americans want ??
No doubt the same US citizens that will be queuing up to work in all the brand new car manufacturing plants, iPhone assembly lines and every other known company in the world, once they all relocate to the great Orange Utopia.

Words defy how truly offensive and obnoxious the occupant of the Oval Office is.

At the Republican dinner event @Greg Bobkin mentioned above

He proclaimed: "These countries are calling me up, kissing my ass... they are dying to make a deal..."

Summing up how countries were apparently grovelling, Trump claimed: "'Please, please, sir, make a deal. I'll do anything'."

Apart from a successful impeachment, would there be any legitimate ways of removing him?
do they do things like “votes of confidence?” Of which he probably wouldn’t take any notice anyway.

Really good X thread about Trumps outdated world views and the massive clusterf**k of political errors he's making.
