Bottom of the Championship looking very close too. Everyone from 15th downwards are fair game for relegation

Villa 2-0 up. They’ve made loads of changes but still got a very strong team. Their wage budget is massive which shows what we are competing against in the top half of the league.

2 shoulder challenges on Martinez, he fouls the Forest player but somehow wins a free kick.

Ridiculous. Come on Forest.
Martinez gets another yellow for time-wasting so gets away with more.

But we're bottlers, aren't we? Keep reading it on here tonight 🤣

If anyone was seriously believing top 5 then they were completely deluded. We were never going to be consistent enough with such young inexperienced players and manager.
I was believing/dreaming but certainly not expecting. Qualification to any European competition is massive for us in terms of player recruitment and retention. Can we keep Pedro Mitoma Baleba Van Hecke if we fail to qualify?.

I felt it was possible (although unlikely) If City were penalised to the full extent they should be, and Webster and Giorginio remained fit.

That dream died in extra time against Forest.

Agree completely. But it is less deluded than saying Nottingham will finish top 3 or Tottenham will be 16th 30 games into the season.

I'm not willing to rule out anything between 5-12th. There will be plenty of slip-ups and if we can have another run like before the international break, we may well end up 5th or 6th.

Palmer on the bench for Chelsea. What do we want from this game?
Chelsea win?

Plus Liverpool win vs Fulham
